Publisher's summary
Terry Molloy reads this original adventure for the Seventh Doctor and Ace, featuring a rematch with the Autons. When a new state-of-the-art recycling plant opens in North-East London, pensioner Roger Turner is all for doing his bit. In return for donations of unwanted plastic, he and his friends get to see AN-X Recycling’s exhibition of life-size human and animal mannequins. The Doctor and Ace are also visiting the plant, but their unauthorized snooping doesn’t go down well with AN-X’s strangely impassive operations managers and their boiler-suited staff, keen to protect the secret that lurks at the heart of the factory floor. When Roger is attacked by a terrifying human exhibit, he finds himself joining forces with the strange Doctor and his friend. Soon they’re all fighting for their lives – and for the future of planet Earth. Terry Molloy, who played Davros and other characters in the BBC TV series, reads this tense thriller from Mike Tucker.

The Doctor has a unique bond with their TARDIS. They’ve always loved the ‘old girl’ for the way she’s gone looking for trouble anywhere in the universe. The Doctor says they stole the TARDIS from Gallifrey. The TARDIS disagrees…she stole them. It hasn’t always taken the Doctor where they want to go, but it’s made sure to take them where they needed to be.

As the Doctor observes proceedings, he forms a growing suspicion that something far more sinister lurks on the other side of the door. What's worse, the room appears set to eliminate anyone who doesn't make the grade.

Christopher Naylor reads the inside story of how the BBC created and launched Doctor Who. In early 1963, a chain of events led to the creation of what would become one of the best-loved, and most successful, of all British television programmes. This is the tale of how Doctor Who embarked upon its epic journey - one which still continues today. It is also the story of the people involved, from Sydney Newman and Donald Wilson to Verity Lambert, Waris Hussein and William Hartnell.

Story
When young Mel’s business partner, Sabalom Glitz embarks on yet another “get rich quick” scheme, it marks the start of an epic, death-defying murder-mystery in space. After barely escaping the snares of a murderous galactic cult, Mel searches for fellow survivors in a nearby spaceship graveyard – while Glitz looks to fill his pockets. But the discovery of a spaceship with its crew in suspended animation, and incredible secrets on board, leaves the duo stranded with no way off. Mel revives the crew – and then the murders start.

What was the Tenth Doctor doing in a hall of mirrors, right before Planet of the Dead? Answers to all these questions lie in an incredible collection of Doctor Who short stories that give a glimpse into the moments just before we saw the Doctor step on screen.

Story
Christopher Naylor reads the inside story of how the BBC created and launched Doctor Who. In early 1963, a chain of events led to the creation of what would become one of the best-loved, and most successful, of all British television programmes. This is the tale of how Doctor Who embarked upon its epic journey - one which still continues today. It is also the story of the people involved, from Sydney Newman and Donald Wilson to Verity Lambert, Waris Hussein and William Hartnell.
