Alpha wanted. Must love dogs...

Trevor's self-image issues from childhood bullies have followed him into adulthood. As a result, he has never experienced a relationship or love. But he sure wants to, especially with the wolf alpha next door.

One tiny problem: Jason can’t stand dogs, and Trevor owns a doggie day care. Besides that, Trevor has trouble believing that anyone as hot as Jason could ever want someone as plain as him.

Omega needed. No pets allowed...

Jason has heard all the jokes about being a wolf who is afraid of dogs, but his phobia is no laughing matter. When he scents the sassy omega next door and realizes Trevor is his fated mate, he knows he’ll need to overcome his fears if he’s going to claim his man.

When Trevor is attacked, his inner alpha emerges, and Jason will do anything to keep his mate safe.

As the pair get closer and their lives and families entwine - and expand - will Jason and Trevor ever learn to trust? Or, will they let old fears win?

😄

The story had some pretty predictable plot points but other wise I enjoyed it very much.

enjoyed it

Would I listen to it again: yes
Did the story keep me engaged: yes
Was I invested in the characters: yes

Story comment: entertaining story, has good pace and engaging, well written characters.
I was a little "miffed" at the lack of empathy for Jason's fear of dogs - expecting him to simply get past it by getting to know Bonnie and Clyde is unfair. Childhood trauma lingers and is a real issue for some. I liked that Jason and Trevor could work through their issues and find their way back to each other.

Narrator comment: I enjoy Guillaume Dubois as a narrator. I enjoy the sound of his voice, he does a good job capturing the personalities of the characters, has good rhythm and the intonations and inflections in his narration all work to bring the story and its characters to life.

Can love overcome fear?

Who would think an alpha wolf would fear dogs. Jason's fear of dogs and Trevor's childhood bullying about his weight make for a tale of love finding its way through fears. I enjoyed the story but found the narrator's character voices hard to follow. I would recommend the book and series.

Love

Love can over come your biggest fear, at least that's what his Alpha learned. Wonderfully written and narrated phenomenally.

fated mates

An omega owner of a doggy day care with past bully issues meets up with a sigle dad alpha with a fear of dogs. I enjoyed watching them heal each other. High anxiety and drama leads to poor communication. Lots if emotions listening to this. Great characters and storyline. The narrator did a great job. I voluntarily listened to this and am giving an honest review.

Happiness is a warm puppy ~Charles M. Schulz~

This story is the best in the series so far! Trevor stole my heart from the beginning! I loved his cute, sweet over the top personality and his style! I needed to re-listen to this book when I was done because it was just so good. I needed a second round!! I also really liked Jason, I thought he was a great match for Trevor. However, I didn't like that everyone was trying to rush him to get over his fear of dogs. It's just something that needs time especially with such a deep fear that stems back to childhood. I feel like Trevor over reacted, but what saved that part of the story for me was that fact that Trevor was pregnant, blaming it on the hormones helped. I also really enjoyed the drama in Trevor's store in the beginning of this story, I didn't know I needed a little bit more of a twist until this book. I can't wait to hear more about the dragon shifters throughout the rest of the series! Also, the steamy sex scene were so damn good! I loved the happy conclusion for this couple with a very intriguing and beautiful ending. (heart melting for sure)... I can't say enough good things about the narrator! Guillaume is just so amazing!!! I could listen to his voice for hours!! I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Love Wins

I received this free review Audible book and wrote this unbiased review. Liam Kingsley has written a heartwarming m/m romance. Two men find love when they have all but given up ever finding it. I love how the author develops the characters emotional and physical connection. Trevor has a very low opinion of his body. He loves his dogs who give him unconditional love. Justin has a terror of dogs. He has a delightful daughter that he adores. There will be twists and turns on their path to love. The narrator brings the words to life and captures the emotions and personalities of these characters. He is an excellent storyteller and makes it a listening pleasure. I highly recommend this Audible book. It will have you smiling at the end.
