We have been getting little snippets of Dominik from all the previous books, as he is the owner of the Arizona Vengeance hockey team. He is a man of many skills and has learnt some of them from experience with his hard upbringing. He is a determined and formidable businessman who has a side of compassion that is tender and sexy. He knows what he wants and not only for his sports teams but also for himself. Once he sets eyes on Willow, he hones in for what he initially thinks will be a night of fun. Spending time with her though shows him how similar they are and how compatible a couple they could be.

Willow is a self employed photojournalist who loves her job immensely even if it is unconventional. Nothing and no one can dictate to her if she should take these dangerous assignments. She too thought she would have a night of pleasure with her brothers boss and move on like she normally does. Slowly but surely she can see that Dominik is one to take a chance of love on.

What I loved about this book was that this couple had commitment issues for different reasons and the way it is played out for us had me wishing and hoping for the best outcome. Once you have been burnt from a relationship, it’s not easy to let those walls down and I felt for Willow when she found it hard to comprehend her feelings entirely. My heart also aches for Dominik when he thought they weren’t on the same page. And the way he goes about recovering their relationship - swoon! The man goes to great lengths for her. These two are so comparable together. They both like to have control but they compliment each other’s strengths and weaknesses that make them my now favorite couple in this series. I also got a kick out of the three way cross over from Sawyer’s books. It links the two hockey series together as well as her Code Name: series which I’m throughly enjoying too.

These two narrators do an amazing job bringing the story to life. I do wish it was duet, but I was happy listening to Dominik and Willow.

I have been really excited to see how Dominik and Willow were going to unfold! I really enjoyed seeing how determined Dominik was to show Willow they can be so much more. I really liked to see the personal side of him and not just the owner. He really is such a caring man and will do anything and everything for people he cares about. Willow is a lot more gun shy about everything and really had to come to terms with their relationship in her own way. I really liked seeing how Willow really got to Dominik and how well they do match with each other. Now all I want is more of this hockey world!

Dominik was completely worth the wait. I am so happy that Bennett wrote this story. Dominik’s story deserved to be told. For fans of this series, you won’t be disappointed. Can’t wait to see where this goes next.

Yippee!!! I am so happy that these two finally made it work!

This is not a typical sports romance as Dominik is the team owner and not a player. But this does not take away from the sports romance at all. This book is about two commitment phobes finding their way together in a permanent way.

We have seen snips of Willow and Dominik in previous books, especially as Willow is a players sister. However this book can be read as a stand alone, you just get more out of it if you have read the other books.

I love ALL of Sawyer Bennett's hockey hotties and Dominik is no exception. He has gone above and beyond as the owner of the Arizona Vengeance to show that he genuinely cares about his players and not just because they make him money. He wants them to be happy and cares about them as people.

Dominik has expressed an interest in Willow, which drives her brother, Dax, who plays for the Vengeance absolutely crazy. He doesn't want Dominik anywhere near her. Though they did have a night or two of passion, Willow has no desire to continue to see Dominik any more, until he decides to really lay on the charm...and even though he wasn't looking for anything serious, one thing leads to another and both people end up for more than maybe they were really bargaining for.

The chemistry between Dominik and Willow was seriously HOT!!! I absolutely loved Dominik's alpha, take charge personality but that he was also genuine and caring and real. I think he and Willow were perfect for each other and I love how Dominik was with the players on the Vengeance.

I think Christian Fox and Erin Mallon did a fantastic job with this book. They are both so easy to listen to and make any book really enjoyable to listen to. They are both on my list of top narrators. I would definitely recommend this book and can't wait to read more from this author and listen to more from these narrators.

The Arizona Vengeance is hands-down my favorite on-going series. I LOVE the Arizona Vengeance team and their significant others and the familiar secondary characters that we've followed throughout the books. Every new book is a welcome chance to hang-out with my favorite people and in Dominik we switch gears a little bit, focusing on the team's owner rather than one of the hockey players.

Dominik Carlson was introduced in the first book of the series, and we see glimpses of him in all the books, often coming in to lend a helping hand. We know him to be a kind, understanding man and despite being a multi-billionaire, he's very down-to-earth and enjoys casually hanging out with the team. He met Willow Monahan (she's Dax Monahan's sister) early in the series, and they ended up hooking up that first night and she continues to intrigue him. But, Willow's job takes her around the world and she loves her nomadic lifestyle.

I love the chemistry between Willow and Dominik and their sex scenes were HOT HOT HOT! These two set my headphones of fire (I listened to the audiobook)! But, it's their banter and conversations that made me love them. I really enjoyed the opposites-attract dynamic they had going on. Watching slowly Willow open up to Dominik was so sweet that was why when Dominik just sprung the thing he did I screamed because it was too fast, too soon! And then how he reacted afterwards! Why, Dominik, why?!? I wanted to shake Dominik who, until then, was quickly overtaking Erik as my favorite hero in the series. I still love Dominik and he did come through in the end. He's currently number 2 in my mental rankings of favorite heroes in the series though.

Like I mentioned, I listened to Dominik on audio and it was EXCELLENTLY narrated by Christian Fox and Erin Mallon. They were absolutely perfect as Dominik and Willow--I love their performances and they definitely added to my enjoyment in the story. I highly recommend you listen to the audiobook edition of Dominik.

If you haven't read any of the books in the Arizona Vengeance series, Dominik can be read as a standalone. If you have a little bit of time, I suggest at least reading Dax prior to Dominik since Dax is an important secondary character. Of course, reading the books in the series in order will very much enhance your reading experience of Dominik so if you have time on your hands I highly recommend the entire series.

What an amazing and outstanding read/listen Dominik was!! My most favorite of this series so far.

Now, I just finish listening to this fabulous audiobook, and OMG, Erin Mallon & Christian Fox did a phenomenal job of bringing this story to life. This brilliant narrators have the unique ability of drawing you in and making you part of the fantastic world the author had created.

My reviews are always spoiler free, so I won't go into detail about this story; just know that this is the most touching, romantic, emotional, and passionate read/listen, in which our hero is the one invested in capturing his beloved's heart without losing his domineering-alpha image. I just love Dominik so freaking much!

You guys won't be disappointed when reading or listening to this flawless storytelling.

Hands down my favorite listen ever. Christian and Erin did such a fabulous job with the characters and the tones and inflections into the story had me cheering during the hockey game, crying in appropriate parts, smiling and kept my heart on the line.

Dominik is the most perfect alpha with the broken background yet so strong and had me longing for him. WIllow is a brilliantly written strong female character with a soft side that is evidenced in her relationship with Dominik. I loved their story and determination and I have never longed so much for a set of characters to make their story a happy ending.

My favorite!!!
