About this listen

Goober McGee has a bad habit. He eats his boogers! His older brother, Sludge, warns him that he could come down with a case of Boogeritis. Goober thinks Sludge is pulling his leg. Then one day, he wakes up, and he's green - everywhere! Goober begins to panic. Was Sludge really right? Will he have to go to school like this? How does he get rid of it?

In the process of getting well again, Goober learns to try new foods, becomes a role model for his peers, and, most importantly, promises to never eat his boogers again.

A cute little audiobook. Goober turns green! The doctor says he has to eat his green vegetables to get well. oh, yuck!

The narrator has different voices for each character. She does a really cute job presenting this story.

I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this Audiobook from Story Origin.

Personal note: Her real doctor told my granddaughter, " We don't eat vegetables because they taste good. We eat vegetables because they are good for us." Great advice.

A healthy message.

My son listened to it with me and really enjoyed it. We often find books that he enjoys to focus on particular sounds to work on his articulation errors. He was positive about this being a book that interested him for that. He said that he would definitely recommend this book because it allowed the reader to learn a lesson while keeping it silly enough to enjoy it! He can’t wait to hear more books from this author! Great job!

Really Funny with A Good Lesson
