Mystery kept me facinated!

What did you love best about Don’t Take Any Wooden Nickels?

I have listened to all five books in this series and loved them all. Having read them a few years ago I decided to listen to them. i found that listening gave me a fresh appreciation for the unfolding of the story. I would recommend this to any mystery fan.

Loving kindness

Love that she keeps turning things over to God. Glad everyone did well and she spoke Japanese.

The narrator

I can’t finish this book. The narrator is awful! She sounds old and the main character is young. I can’t handle the wet noise she makes on pauses. I will finish this book by reading it, as I have liked all the books I have read by this author.

Great story

Two mysteries in one. Couldn't put it down. I liked the character development in this story. We got to learn a little bit more about her personal life and where she lives, which makes her more real.
I also thought the narrator did a better job with the voices in this book, than the first one. Can't wait to get started on the 3rd book, now!

Great story but...

... for Pete's sake, stop talking about Brian already! How much longer, and for how many more books must we suffer her going on and on about Brian?

Recording quality ?

Book is good until last few chapters and then the recording quality becomes distracting, not the best, had hard time listening.
