Good read.

I enjoyed this book. The twists were interesting. I loved this author’s stand alone books very much. Beginning this series. We’ll see how they compare.

Easy Listening

I read this series years ago and am circling back to enjoy it again. It makes for good entertainment during my commute and when I am working around the house. I like the main character and the relationship that evolves with her boss. I appreciate that Christianity is woven through the chapters but find some of the evangelistic “perfect endings” to be a bit unrealistic.

You can tell that this was written in 2002, but the story does carry though well.

Family. No matter how you for some not enough.

This reminded me of a quote that it’s easier for a camel to go thru the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter kingdom of God.

Great story

This is a great story. Narrators voice was not a good match for the main character but she is a good narrator. Her voice sounds older and it was hard to picture main character as young.
