Based on Comedy Central's hit phenomenon "Dr. Katz: Professional Therapist," Dr. Katz's Therapy Sessions lets us listen in on the hilarious sessions between the wry, downtrodden Dr. Katz (comedian/actor Jonathan Katz) and his roster of patients, whose voices are provided by such popular comedians as Gary Shandling, Steven Wright, Rita Rudner, Anthony Clark, Janeane Garofalo, Carol Leifer, and more. Therapy has never been this funny!

The doctor is back with a series of sessions from the likes of Sarah Silverman, Ted Danson, Weird Al Yankovic, and Maria Bamford. Based on the Emmy- and Peabody Award-winning Dr. Katz: Professional Therapist, the show reunites star/creator Jonathan Katz with H. Jon Benjamin (as his son Ben) and Laura Silverman (as receptionist Laura).

Matthew is a normal 11-year-old boy living with his parents and little sister in Surrey. He's too old and sensible to have an imaginary friend really. Yet when Matthew's parents keep finding him talking and arguing with a strange presence whom Matthew calls Chocky, that's what they believe it must be…at first. But Chocky is oddly sinister, and keeps asking Matthew all sorts of complicated questions about the world and making him behave in unusual and erratic ways. Dr. Katz, Professional Therapist was a wildly successful, innovative, and hilarious show on Comedy Central that ran for six seasons. In it, Jonathan Katz performed as the therapist to a host of big-name comics coming to terms with their neuroses. The amazing cast also included Laura Silverman and Jon Benjamin as regulars, and the show popularized the Squigglevision animation style. In January of 2008, a live version of Dr. Katz was staged with the original lineup and featured BJ Novak, Eugene Mirman, and Andy Kindler as the guest-star patients. This is the result.
