About this listen

The dreamscape is a place of magic and mystery and meaning. In that nocturnal realm, ideas, images, sensations and emotions drift on the currents of the unconscious mind.

Morpheus the Dream Falcon is most at home in that domain. By night, the one-of-a-kind winged immortal soars on those winds, observing and sometimes even entering the slumbering thoughts of another. By day, he is a highly sought after mercenary feared by his immortal kin both for his unmatched ferocity and his wicked obsidian talons. None of his prey escapes him.

Cecilia Ramirez y Aguilera is the one he truly wants. But the striking oracle of the Court of the Light Immortals is closed to the handsome outlaw, even in her dreams. Broken by unimaginable losses, the seer is but a slave, subject to the whims of a master who is mad and without mercy.

Drawn together by fate, their impossible passion ignites. But will that be enough to overcome the dangerous secrets each keeps from the other? Or will mistrust and the desire for revenge threaten to unravel the powerful magic that binds them?

Most memorable would have to be when Morpheus first sees Cecilia at the court.

Dream Magic book 2

Although this does not pick up where book 1 leaves off, you soon find out how it fits together. As the group continues to move forward with plans to change their immortal lives. I look forward to the next book in this series. Good long listen!

"The Dreamscape"

Dream Magic tells us the story of Morpheus & Cecilia as well as Billy & Thyme's story interweaved into the narrative. As, with book one each chapter begins with music & poetry quotes which reflect the chapter. World building descriptions & settings are well detailed. Brimming with love, sadness, reams of action, seductive moments and beautiful poetry. A perfect fantasy listen.

Narators Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross bring into existence a magical beautiful tale with such passion and ecstasy.

Powerful Magic in this one!

Any additional comments?

Morpheus is a handsome Dream Falcon. His prey does not escape his talons. Cecilia is a slave to a cruel master. Together they have powerful magic! Great fantasy listen.

My Two Pennies

In book two were given the story of Morpheus & Cecilia and how they became to be together. I was pulled in with book one and one was a good read as well although at times I felt a little drag but then the story picked back up. We were continuing ahead with Billy & Thyme as well and I was happy to hear more about their story entwined within. I was left with a WHAT?! ending and I love it and don't at the same time. I want to know more but it's killing me that I can't. This is my unbiased and voluntary review.

An okay book

It took a long time to get to the real story so I didn't really get into it. It does end in a cliff hanger so be aware if you don't like those. Also only one couple ends in a somewhat happy ending. The others are left hanging. The narrators on the other hand did a fabulous job at bringing the many characters to life. Giving each a separate identity. The narrators made listening to the story worth while.
