About this listen

The grays, terrors from deep space, overwhelm our fleet. Our starships burn. Our armies shatter. Our cities crumble. Hope is all but lost.

Captains Marco Emery and Addy Linden launch a desperate quest. Against all odds, they must reach the grays' world. They must travel deep behind enemy lines. They must find the grays' source of power - and destroy it.

The quest seems hopeless. Yet Marco and Addy must succeed. Or we all die.

It's a time for courage. A time for hope. A time to fall...or to rise higher than ever before.

BRAVO, great story

From the beginning anyone who's been in the military can relate to the feelings and thoughts that you have placed on paper about going through boot camp. I suspect that it was the Marine Corps, if so then Semper Fi.
When you talked about the memories of lost friends in battle and the torment of those never ending nightmares and how hollow it leaves you, I believe that you were there. May you find the peace that you seek and heal your soul, you are not alone.
As for the rest of the story it kept me focused and looking for the next one to come. You are a great story teller and excellent author.
As for Jeffrey Kafer, his talent is not lost in the story but enhances it. The challenges he must have had to create the many voices to go with all of the characters is top notch, the quality of the recording is very good for someone like me who is almost stone deaf.
Thank You for making this audio book.
God Speed.

emotional

Such a good ending to an amazing story. my heart aches yet sings. I'm a little mad at the author but so in love with this series. Will definitely repeat listening to it again.
Narrator did an amazing job bringing life to these characters. I'm going to miss them.

Best book in the series

If all the books in this series had been this good, I would have been a much happier person. This is by far the best book in the series. It was hard getting here, but the final book was great. There is a lot of action on this book that I really appreciated. There were some things that felt a little like filler, but maybe those things will have more life in the Children of Earthrise series. Either way, I'm glad the series is over. If you hung in this long, you will like book 9 a lot.

Loved every minute

Where does Earth Eternal rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I'm reviewing the series as a whole. It is an emotional thrill ride top to bottom. I could not wait for each new book to come out. And every one I listened to at every moment free, finishing each volume up in a day or so. Then I would feel sad that I would then have to wait for the next to come out.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Earth Eternal?

The ending is wonderful.

What about Jeffrey Kafer’s performance did you like?

Great voice. He owned each character.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

YES.

Any additional comments?

I wish this series would carry on, but then for the character's sake I'm glad it is over. :)

Excellent series

It is an excellent series and great story, I hope to see some sort of continuation but this could be a satisfying ending.

Finally done

It was an ok story - started getting cliche towards the end of the series.

I sort of hoped the Addy character would die I got so sick of her. She stayed 13 yrs old despite everything, and it was bad, man. Real bad.

The rest was good, nice twists.

Great end to a great series

This series was very enjoyable. I wonder if Marco ever teaches what he learned to future generations. Hopefully everyone that is left from the dragon platoon will never see war again in their lifetime.

I hope you enjoy this book as much as I have.

The perfect ending

I was fortunate enough to listen to every book as it came out and am blown away with how it was all pieced together and everything came to be at end so perfectly

Time travel stories are so much fun.

As previously stated. Time travel stories are so much fun. This one was. But that was all. The reasons for the characters doing what they did was inconclusive. The tick tock man? Shake the hand that shook the world son. Who was he? Why was he so powerful? Why did he hate earth? I need some answers. Was he Schroeder? Maybe? Idk. Did I miss something? Still great book. Just need some motivation for my villains. He was not the tick tock man with the line-less palms.

Repeat - Repeat - Repeat

It seemed that Mr. Arenson, in an attempt to make the book longer constantly repeated the laments of the four main characters - oh my oh me this person died, that person died and how awful their life had been. You take all of the memories that were repeated over and over and you could fill an entire book but then there would be only a half to two thirds of a book left. Thank goodness for fast forward. It was over all a good storyline but the repeated laments had me gritting my teeth. The only reason I listened to all nine books is that the basic storyline was interesting and I wanted to see how it ended.
