Just like in almost all of the stories...

There is almost a laughable consistency in a staggering amount of bones I've since listened to, what they're ate now than a few pivotal points where - and here's another annoying point - A WOMAN (seemingly of a position of power and superior intellect) - commit to an act that is so 'gods' (couldn't resist) DAMMED STUPID, that - when it's such a good book and you're enraptured and submerged into its story, that you cannot believe how: plain and simply BAD the decision is that one of these powerful, insanely intelligent women is made to make via the author. This has got to be some sort of conspiracy in an effort to belittle women, it's so common and ridiculous lol. (half joke)

This book did not disappoint. ELLA, ########SPOILER#########
########SPOILER#########
########SPOILER#########
########SPOILER#########
makes the dipshit decision to plot escape and disgrace the one person who had saved her, treated her as a, and I quote : "perfect gentlemen"?? Instead of saying what she needed to do - reup her green book - she has to run off away from a safe camp, into the fucking DESERT - to do this?? AAAFFTERRR the prince GAVE HER THEIR OWN Lexicon, and a good God damn JUG of the juice she needs to craft? As a gift? Just... "here yah go tootse.. Because I think you have nice boobies and awesome vergeen'yah"..???? Seriously how did this extremely bright, educated woman come to this conclusion when the whole book she had displayed high competence in using pragmatism, thinking things through and finally: as the best method to help her friends and people (as this was the written statement given for the reason for her betrayal to the prince) - no.... Fuck, no don't ask the prince to help... That would be much too intelligent an act...........wtf man. Why do these things have to exist in an otherwise AMAZING story... I'd be much more forgivable if the dipshit decisions were nominal ones, and not outright pivotal.

Sigh.

This has been such a common theme in fantasy novels /series /trilogies etc. They I felt the need to vent this point on several rate and review areas of bones I've listened to.

Dammed stupid little pet peeves...

But this IS affffking AWESOME story so far.

relying on oil & technology vs. the natural world

What made the experience of listening to Enchantress the most enjoyable?

The young woman who is the center of the story was a great character. All of the characters were well drawn and most were very likable or very despicable. Fun.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Enchantress?

There were many. I lliked when Killian goes in and destroys the mechanisms with the wild animal woman on his heels.

Which character – as performed by Simon Vance – was your favorite?

Mirro

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

A fantasy which eerily for tells where we as a planet could easily be heading.

Any additional comments?

GREAT!

Brilliant spellbinding

I have not been so engrossed in a story like this since "The Mists of Avalon.

I am going to download the next in the series immediately! I live this book, the narrator is great. He has a wonderfully engaging voice. I felt as if I was there.

Thank you, so much.

I didn't expect much.

The author has created a unique fantasy world of magic that doesn't come from the ethereal. I loved it this book and can hardly wait to start the next one.
