Publisher's summary

A Devastating Plan. The Undead Rising. Worlds Ending.

I’d barely had time to recover from Elsbeth Wyght’s vicious game when the call from Detective Haskins came. This time a bank robbery with a difference... and of course nothing as it seemed. With this turn of events I found myself thrust onto a shadowy trail that would lead me back to the asylum of my deepest nightmares and a desperate hunt for the truth amid a growing, cataclysmic danger.

Add to the mix an engineered virus threatening to turn half the city to zombies, a trip into a world straight out of a Grimm's fairy tale, and a vicious, demonic conspiracy that would make the Silver Spiral’s plans seem like a cakewalk. And always, just below the surface, my dark other. Stirring, plotting, waiting. But for what?

Now, as the dead of winter looms, the vampires and demons of the Dark City are growing more restless than ever as they wait for the Shade to return. The evil force that brought hell to my city. The Shadow in the mirror. The Ender of Worlds.

Ender of Worlds is the fourth Morgan Rook novel in the urban fantasy thriller The Order of Shadows series. If you love supernatural thrillers, high paced action, and otherworldly adventure, then you’ll love this new book from Kit Hallows, author of Urban Fantasy books with teeth!

Action packed

this is a fantastic series. Morgan Rook and his friends try to keep peace in the human world. There seems to always seems to be someone after Morgan and this time was no exception. He and his friends are chasing the ones trying to start a war with the humans and supernaturals. This book kept me on pins and needles throughout the book. This book is full of action. I definitely looking forward to the next book. The author has created a fantastic world. The narrator for these books is fantastic.I was gifted this book at my request in exchange for an honest review.

good listen

I didn't start on book one so I feel like I'm missing out a little and I felt like the narrator is a little slow but overall good story and worth listening to.

Mogan's adventures continue

Another great story of Morgan Rook. Much is revealed. This installment in some ways mirrors the relationship between the characters of Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker, in The Empire Strikes Back. In the Star Wars movie, there is the struggle between good and evil. There is the enmity between the protagonist and antagonist .Then there is the, I’m your daddy Luke confession of Darth Vader. There are similar parallels in this story.

This story is fast paced as he and his friends fight to save the humans and supernatural. Morgan must make a trip to fae to save Eraland Underwood, his boss. The organization seems to be falling apart and turning against him. His Other is becoming stronger. Romance seem to be bubbling between him and Astrid. If you have followed this story you do not want to miss this installment.
