Publisher's summary

When relationships go south, some people just can't - or won't - let go. When Fort Worth Police Officer Megan Luz and her pawed partner Brigit investigate a series of stalking incidents involving a couple who recently broke up, their detective powers are put to the test. Is this a case of a controlling creep who refuses to accept rejection - or one about a woman scorned whose fury has been unleashed? As hostilities escalate between the former lovers, the situation goes from romantically dysfunctional to downright dangerous. He insists his former flame has become a crazy ex-girlfriend intent on vengeance. She alleges that he is a master of manipulation and lays blame entirely at his feet. Who's the culprit, and who's the victim? Can Megan and Brigit sniff out the truth...before somebody ends up dead?

Love the humour!

These books never fail to crack me up. I love waiting to see if I've guessed the right bad guy or not. Ms. Marlo is wonderful narrator. Easy on the ear and vey good with all appropriate inflections.

My review of enforcing the paw

Pretty good storyline, except for the stupidity of the guy stealing purple tootsie pops, that was very weak, and gone into way too much, plus why would any cop care about stopping a guy that was stealing? Grape tootsie pops absolutely ridiculous -You could’ve done better but otherwise it’s a pretty good book.

Great Story Concept

Really had me guessing. It could be either one. I started to get just as frustrated as Megan in the end though. As always, the performance was excellent!

meh

So-so. The previous books in series were better. Still worth the read to hear what Bridget, the dog, is thinking. its hilarious. I'll get the next in the series because I think it will pick up .
