 Twenty-eight-year-old, African-American high school teacher Benjamin Miller has lived an empty life since his twin sister was killed in a car accident over a year ago. His life changes dramatically before Valentine’s Day when a beautiful woman with milky-white skin opens the door to his locked vehicle and tells him she’s going home with him—but first he has to give her a name. She displays powers of magical mischief, so Ben names her Eris, after the Greek goddess of strife and discord.
