About this listen

Scotty is determined that she is going to bring down the evil Mr. Lucas. But that proves to be easier said than done. Prosecuting a wealthy man is never an easy task, as the increasingly disillusioned Scotty soon finds out first-hand.

However, Nick has a back-up plan that comes into play, as the situation increasingly gets out of control. This plan is risky and dangerous.

And Nick is just the man to pull it off.

But is it too late? Will Scotty finally get the justice and closure that she deserves?

Or will she continue her life feeling broken?

Of all three books I have to say this one was super annoying. I think this series would have been great if it stopped at 2 books. This last book seemed forced.

Should have stopped at 2

Okay, I really tried to give this series a chance but honestly!! This last book was almost ridiculous in its inane plot. This should have been a series in maybe 2 books. I had to force myself to finish listening, and that's only because I always finish a book once I've started. I began to think both main characters are just idiotic. Too bad, because this story had potential.

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

Jeremy York was great as Nick, and the story line was good but that's where it ends. The author kept repeating the same words over and over and offering definitions for everything, it's as if she had to have a word count and just thew in some extra "she said" "he said"

What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)

The ending was good.

Did Allison Lynnewood and Jeremy York do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?

Allison Lynneword's did not. Jeremy York was GREAT!

What character would you cut from Ever After?

I would't cut any character's I would improve the writing.
