Good review and listening practice

This was a short, but good little listening practice after using Paul Noble's first Japanese course. It's fun to see how much you can understand. As a learning tool, it would be better if the native speaker did a show version of the sentence as well, but as a review we've listening exercise, it was fine.

very useful and easy to learn :)

If you could sum up Everyday Japanese for Beginners - 400 Actions & Activities in three words, what would they be?

fun, useful, easy

What was one of the most memorable moments of Everyday Japanese for Beginners - 400 Actions & Activities?

Help me a lot with expressing myself to my Japanese friends, and writing school reports.

What about uncredited’s performance did you like?

I love the young voices in this book with are enjoyable to listen.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I always had problem with constructing simple and usable sentences in Japanese, this book is all about that so for me this is 100% must have in my study collection .

Any additional comments?

I wish there are more chapters in this book, I would like to content for dating, hanging out, school, geeky stuff etc...

You get what you pay for I guess...

It's not very useful for learning a new language when some of the words in English weren't recorded properly and you can't hear what the word was, at least it didn't cost much.
For the price, not a bad tool to have in your beginners kit.

Nice beginner's supplemental guide

As a free book this download is virtually invaluable omoshiroi desu kara, but as purely a beginner's guide this won't do own. With that being said I have not yet purchased the next book in the series so I don't know if it becomes more instructive but this is a "hear and say" book. In my opinion, your ear must be tuned to Japanese at least ⚫⚫⚪⚪⚪⚪ to benefit from this. I would not even call myself a proficient beginner but if you are you should add this to your lessons. In fact, I will also add that if you wosh to be anythong more than a beginning learner, add this to your lesson.

Good for vocabulary

If your looking for a book with standard travel vocab this is the book. You may need to pause it and go back and forth but it’s accurate and accountable.

not for beginners

Unclear audio. Narration rushed and incomprehensible. PDF not available. Customer service apathetic. Will not purchase from this company again.

Poor Product

I honestly should have known better than to occur this, since I've bought other recordings from Innovative and JapanesePod101.com. That said I was still disappointed.

The Japanese native speaker is just banging out the words, with no breakdown or help in pronunciation. I'm an intermediate level Japanese language student with basic conversational Japanese skills and i couldn't make out much of what she was saying, if you're a beginner you'll have no chance.

Also there's no pacing or spaced repetition just word after word. No chance to memorize what you've just heard.

If you're a JLPT2 maybe this would be useful, since you're already fluent, otherwise, forget it.
