A chilling short Aloysius - Great

This is a short teaser before the up coming release of the next Pendergast novel. As always, his stories are chilling. This story is from his childhood and told to Constance in the living room of their house in New York. It is suitably disturbing in the traditional manner. It is worth the hour. Pop open your wallet and pay cash. Thumbs up.

Gruesome & short but in true Pendergast fashion

I love the Pendergast series but was initially reluctant to get this since I thought the 'bad tooth fairy' subject might be too macabre. I was right but the story was masterfully written & performed. Cons- the story may stay with you like all good horror tales but that's also what makes for a classic fairy tale. The brevity of the story will leave you wanting more.

What an full short

I loved this book. Just a bit of the - what the heck - on the old legend of the tooth fairy as only the Pendergast’s could tell it. It’s not long but way fun.

Very dark fairy tale

The narrator was very appropriate when he was speaking as Agent Pendergast but only mediocre for other characters voices. Story itself was typical for the series. In the end, you finish the story with tons of unanswered questions.

Nice little side story

As far as short stories go, this was a good one. It is basically a tale of a mysterious man considered by young kids to be a very evil tooth fairy. The whole story takes place as Pendergast and his friends enjoy themselves before dinner. The story is short but it sheds some new light on Diogenes and perhaps Pendergast's future life choices.
