About this listen

What if not knowing how was no longer an obstacle to your dreams and desires?

The number one reason you're not going for your deepest dreams and desires in life—or even giving yourself full permission to want those things—is because you don't know how you’ll make them a reality. Not knowing how then becomes a barrier that stops you from doing, being, or having the things and the life you know you're meant for.

But the truth is, you never need to know how you’ll do, be, or have something before you decide that you're going to. No matter what it is you desire and dream of. Even if it's a so-called "pipe dream." You don’t need to know all of the steps. You don’t need a strategy or an action plan. You don’t have to make a to-do list and check everything off. You don't even have to do most of what you think it takes to do, be, and have what you want. You just have to do your part and stay the hell out of the way so the universe can do its part.

F--k the How demystifies manifestation and teaches you the process to go from dream or desire in your heart to actually receiving it in your real, physical life, without ever having to know how beforehand. Whether you're a creative with big dreams, an over-thinker, a control freak, or someone who just gets way too caught up on the how of making your desires happen, this paradigm-shifting book will help you to set the how aside and get anything that you want.

This just works

I love anything on manifestation and techniques. Yesterday I was so frustrated with one situation. So I did what Jennifer said in the book...and today it got resolved. Keep in mind...this is after 2 months of struggling with it. Thanks. Listening to it now the second time.

Excellent book, lots of aha moments

Jennifer is an excellent storyteller. Her experiences are relatable and relevant to the humanity. Some things she pulled out of my mind. She gets to the cause where as many authors just give you the effect. I read Quantum Leap 1st. Inspiring!

Mostly okay, troubling statement (victim blaming)

I enjoyed this book overall. The explanations of steps are pretty clear with some real life examples (“case studies”).

The through line is manifesting a divorce. As in, the author’s former husband pulling the trigger and filing the paperwork. The author takes no responsibility for this relationship; Just peace’s out and waits for it to coast downhill? It’s confusing. And she has to “make peace” with her marriage ending? 😒. Ladies, use your words and communicate.

There’s a few times the author/narrator goes off script to clarify. Speaking off the cuff is fine in a seminar. But going off script means your book didn’t have all the information needed or it wasn’t clearly written.

Troubling statement in last chapter - rich / wealthy people who get robbed were robbed because they didn’t believe they were safe having wealth. So, that means people bring bad things upon themselves? The slippery slope that starts is dangerous. (You get in a car wreck because of a drunk driver? You didn’t believe you were safe. No! Another person made an irresponsible choice.) The victim blaming leaves a bad impression. Sometimes, $hit happens because the world isn’t a kind place.

I had to slow down the speed because the author reads very fast and places emphasis in odd places. (I’d prefer a professional voice actor.)

Overall? Mostly okay. Just listen with your thinking brain and filter out the stuff that doesn’t land right.
