About this listen

They say everyone has either an addiction, obsession, or weakness in this world. Something that can penetrate you down to the core and influence you in a way nothing else can. I have all three. One happens to be her. Kit Bishop is in my veins.

But unfortunately for me, she's the drug I'll never be able to indulge in and the high I can't chase. Because I'm a liar. A thief. And I've destroyed everything that's ever been mine.

Wonderful

This review is for all three books and contains no spoilers.
First, the narration by Melissa Moran and Teddy Hamilton was perfect. The voices fit the characters and both did an excellent job with pacing, enunciation and injecting just enough—but not too much—emotion into their scenes. 5🌟
The plot was unexpectedly multifaceted. It was twisty and exciting; interesting and captivating; heartwarming and angsty. I have to admit I didn’t expect such a high quality book…I expected a much lighter “steam with some plot” book. I was delighted to discover this book was an excellent, multilayered story with some excellent steam.
The author is very talented. I’m looking forward to exploring her entire library.
For the best experience, I highly recommend listening to the Complicated Hearts duet prior to listening to this series as those characters play a large part in this story.
Overall, this was a 5🌟 listen and worth the credits.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟5 Beautiful Stars

Kit & Preston's story started in Complicated Hearts. Their story continues here. They are like oil & water. But they are drawn to one another in a way that neither of them can explain. This is one of the most amazing slow burn build up stories I have ever read/listened to. It left me wanting more of both of them! You are a genius, Ashley! This is a must read! Teddy Hamilton & Melissa Moran do a great job narrating.

Wait for book 3

I liked the story line, and narrators, but you're left hanging until book 3 comes out. Do yourself a favor and wait until it's out so you can listen to them all together. You cannot get away with just the one or two books.

5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Ashley Jade this is the best book in the complicated heart’s series. The first two were great but this is by far my favorite. Teddy Hamilton, that voice, is captivating and he brings the story to life. Melissa Moran awesome job putting emotions in the character and giving so much to the audience in your work.

This being the third book in the series did not take away from the story at. it was well written and full of excitement and kept me hooked I didn’t stop until it was over. More books like this please!

Fold

Ashley Jade has stole my heart again and left me begging for more.
Fold is book one in the Complicated Parts Trilogy. After reading Complicated Hearts I was extremely excited to find out Kit and Preston were getting their own books.

Kit and Preston aren't your average kissy face couple, they actually aren't a couple at all(not yet atleast). They both share a love for Becca and that ends quickly when she breaks their heart. The first part of the book is the aftermath from the betrayal, the second half is what I hope to be the beginning of forever for these two.
Will Preston and Kit bond over the pain and go All In? Or fold when things get to complicated?

“Illusions aren't always a bad thing, Kit. Sometimes it's your mind's way of saving you when reality keeps trying to break you. A way of giving you something to believe in when you don't have anything left.” Preston

life's crazy enough without bad family members

if some says they like the same sex I don't know if you can change their minds especially if your both dating the same woman. I was a little confused about the father of Preston. Preston seems to have a gambling habit I wouldn't want to get involved with

Fold

Fold (formally known as Complicated Parts #1) is the first book in the Complicated Parts series. This book features Preston and Kit and is told from both perspectives.

Preston and Kit meet when they find out their girlfriend is cheating on them with each other. Kit is a lesbian, and Preston believes he got his girlfriend pregnant. Kit had asked the same girl to marry her, and they both take it hard that the girl in question cheated on both of them. They develop a bond between them due to this girl.

However something tragic happens and they are both there, and they are there for each other during this event. But something happens after this event that tears them apart.

Three years later, they are both dealing with life in the best way they can. One night something happens to both of them, and they just happen to run into each other.

I'm really curious to see what happens next between these two characters! They both have been through some things, and I want to see if they come out on top. This book kept me wanting more.

Good start

I was skeptical, but it’s a good start to the story. Narrators are great as always.
