Critic reviews

" Fateful Triangle may be the most ambitious book ever attempted on the conflict between Zionism and the Palestinians viewed as centrally involving the United States. It is a dogged expose of human corruption, greed, and intellectual dishonesty. It is also a great and important book, which must be read by anyone concerned with public affairs." (Edward Said, from the Preface)
"A devastating collection of charges aimed at Israeli and American policies that affect the Palestinian Arabs negatively" ( Library Journal)
"Brilliant and unscrupulous." ( Observer)

important context for America and israel

this work provides important context into America's unusual and contradictory relationship with Israel. not the best work on the subject, but good nonetheless.

Chomsky is my new friend

It's horrible what's been going on for so long and should be a national embarrassment.

a must read!

Simply phenomenal. The full story of this conflict is rarely told in the US. This book rectifies that fact.

Ethical Right to the Point

As usual Noam Chomsky is right on target to tell it how it truly is. This book has been revised to 2015. You will learn about Oslo accords and many more sad realities about our imperialistic & pseudo-democratic military killing doctrine and regime. But the human spirit still has hope that truth and love will prevail.

Brilliant and Insightful

Fateful Triangle is another brilliant work by Chomsky. The book relies on sources and quotes from every side, American, Israeli, Palestinian, and the rest of the world, to describe the history of Israel-Palestine relations in a way that makes sense.

A lesson in history my soul needed.

It was difficult to listen to this without occasionally wanting to underline, rabbit-ear pages and rereading sentences, so I bought it. I'm grateful for the privilege to be able to learn about the occupation and torturous treatment of Palestinians by Israel. As an American born in the 80's my mind was filled with propaganda and lies spread by American media and Israel. I pray more people educate themselves on the struggle of Palestinian sovereignty and push the U.S. government to end financial and military support of a government/state that acts as a terrorist to its neighbors and to force them to return lands stolen from Palestine, Jordan, Syria and Lebanon.

Narrated - Brian Jones

Noam Chomsky is one the greatest minds so it’s a given that the content on the book is outstanding. The narrator, however, is one of the worst! His voice will lull you into a deep sleep. I have to listen to the narrator at a faster speed to stay awake. It’s unfortunate that Brian Jones seems to be the narrator for quite a few of Chomsky’s audiobooks.
