About this listen

How Far Would He Go To Keep Them Safe?

It was more than a break-in. More than a stalking. It was personal. When a stalker targets his family, journalist Jack Crittendon must uncover who the person is and what his motives are - if he is to protect the ones he loves. It will lead Crittendon into a world of behind-closed-door secrets and faith gone awry, as does his investigation of a missing pastor, whose apparent suicide is more than it appears. Each move Crittendon makes weaves him tighter and tighter into a web of lies, greed, hypocrisy, sin, and danger.

He believed he’d never give in to fear. But that was before. And holding on to his faith won’t be easy. Nor will keeping his family safe, and ending the terror. Because that might require him to step over lines he never dared to cross.

I thoroughly enjoyed the way the multiple stories were all woven together to form a beautiful pattern of Christ love at the end. It made me think and learn a lot about love and forgiveness.

Excellent and well written story with fantastic ending

I had never read anything by this author but took a chance for my long road trip to listen on audible. Excellent story.
The reader was good for the both part except when reading the wife’s voice.
No, just no. Soft is good, but to attempt an affect of a feminine voice took away from the severity and sincerity of her trauma and fear. It sounded almost mocking.
I would read more from this author, but maybe not on audible.

The level of detail and a true mystery until the end.

I loved listening to this book. This is one of those you don't want to stop listening to. The story line is great. It was easy to separate the characters in the story. I would suggest this book to anyone.

Great intertwining of two stories.
It’s always a little difficult to hear a man narrate the female characters but I did get used to it because I just wanted to continue with the story line.

I will be purchasing more of this writer and narrator’s work in Audible.

A blessing and a suspenseful story.

who but God knows where our lives will lead? The way we are raised, the events that happen, all work together to make us who we are. God works through every issue and circumstance to bring us to His Son and saving redemption. That is the moral of this book.

We all need love and forgiveness.
