Publisher's summary
Moving back home at 27 was not in my original plan. But after the car accident that completely upended my family’s life, I just had to be there for them.
I can’t complain, though. They let me blast Britney Spears’s greatest hits while making dinner, and they still respect my freedom as an adult. I can even meet up with my secret guy friend without any questions. No one can know about him, especially not my best friend. If she ever found out, she’d say “Bye Bye Bye” to our friendship.
He’s not my boyfriend or anything (as much as I daydream about him). And it’s not like he’s into me, anyway. Besides, I have zero time for romance in between running three dance teams, working an extra job to help support my family, and dealing with my snooty coworker.
Did I mention I’m also taking over snooty-coworker’s dance teams?
But don’t worry about me. I can handle everything!
Right?
Feel the Rhythm is a best friend's brother, sweet romantic comedy that keeps the romance closed-door. It's book two in The Canyon Cove Love Stories but can be listened to as a standalone.

Ryder, Garrett, Kenzo, and Diesel - The Vipers. Their deals are as sordid as their business, and their reputation is enough to bring a grown man to his knees, forcing him to beg for mercy. They are not people you mess with, yet my dad did. The old man ran up a debt with them and then sold me to cover his losses. Yes, sold me. They own me now. I’m theirs in every sense of the word. Story
Obituary writer Nadine Barbault doesn’t mind being called “Lady Death”. It suits the ice queen persona she’s cultivated to survive the fast-paced Toronto Herald. So when Nadine learns that famous (and reclusive) author Dot Voline has died, she doesn’t hesitate to run the obituary…only to discover that Dot is very much alive. Nadine’s screw-up has brought Wesley Chen of the rival Spear no end of joy—she’s been a thorn in his extremely ambitious side for years. But the renewed interest in Dot also surfaced chatter about a mysterious past scandal.

Story
Hockey coach Ashley Jaswal doesn't take nonsense from anyone … except her overbearing and superstitious family. They believe she's a good luck charm for her brother Jas, the newest Vancouver Canucks draft pick, forcing Ash to attend all his games as he rises up the NHL ranks, sacrificing her personal life (not that she has one—who decided hockey season needed to be 10 months long anyway?). Ash also clashes with Jas’s teammate, Canucks captain Devin Snyder.

Cute Story and Great Narrator
Like all of Marie's stories, this was a fun and cute rom-com. Aricka Parent did a fantastic job narrating the story and making the characters come to life. This is very much a clean romance with only brief kisses. I have learned that personally, and this is nothing against the author since it is my weird quirk; I don't like listening to the parts where they mention kissing since they are hard to skip. I would much rather read it in a book so I can quickly skip ahead, but that's hard with an audiobook :) There is some description of how the characters feel when being kissed, but there is nothing to say that the kisses themselves are descriptive. It is very clean, and I would let my preteen daughter read it. I need to go now find the next one in the series so I can read about Thea's story, but I highly recommend everyone to either read/listen or do both with Marie's books. She does a great job with every book I have read.

Good Story
The narrator is nice to listen to. She does a good job of bringing the different characters to life. The plot is about taking on too much, and feeling like you own everyone’s problems. The story is well written and chaste.

An entertaining best friend’s brother story!
I was really excited for Ivy’s story after reading Speak Your Truth. I love a good old best friend’s brother book! Feel The Rhythm was excellent and I really enjoyed this story. The narrator did a fantastic job of bringing the characters to life. Ivy is hard working and wants to help her family. Even if it comes to cost of taking care of herself. I really loved learning more about Scott. He had good intentions at heart. He wants to help Ivy and take care of her. There is a lot of character growth as Ivy learns to let others help her. The romance is clean/closed door with only kissing. Feel the Rhythm is a great book and recommend reading!

It takes a village
Feel The Rhythm by Marie Soleil is book number two of the Canyon Cove series, it can be read as a standalone however you may miss some of the characters juicy backstories. Either way you don’t want to miss this sweet romance that teaches important life lessons while making our hearts skip a beat.
Ivy and Adam want to tell Amy, Ivy’s best friend and Adam’s sister, about their relationship but the timing never seems right. And to top it off Ivy is dealing with lots of other issues that may threaten their relationship before it truly takes off.
In true Marie fashion, this is another sweet romance with a bunch of memorable characters, most of whom we’ve met before. She gives us some important lessons along the way to a HEA. Recommend for best friends brother, secret relationship, no spice, only kisses with a HEA.
I listened to the audiobook narrated by Aricka Parent. I quite enjoyed her voice inflections as she did a great job with each of the characters. Definitely recommend.

Narrators voice is great!
There was so much to this story than just falling in love. Although that is a big part of the story. But Ivy goes through so much and has a hard time letting people help. And all Scott wants to do is help her and carry part of her burden. Ivy’s family is the greatest too. If you love seeing a character grow along with some secret dating/ forbidden love this is the story for you!

Sweet story
I loved this narrator in the first book and they did another great job with book 2. I love book series because I get attached to the side characters and want to see them all get their HEA. Ivy is so strong and dedicated to her family and doing everything she can for others, but who is taking care of her? I had all the feels in this one; I laughed, I cried, I swooned. It’s a must read/listen! It was so good I read it twice (once on Kindle and once on audio).
This is book 2 and can be read as a standalone but it’s much better when you read in order so you get the full story of all the characters.

Sweet Romance with a Dance theme
The narrator on this book is amazing. I love how she makes you believe it’s her and adds so much meaning to the words.
The story line feels true to real life and follows along with how dating goes with the insecurities one might feel. The main male character is very handsome and good but I would have loved to see a little more of how he thinks and what makes him tick. I also would have liked to see more of what his parents thought of the relationship.
I did enjoy seeing characters from a prior book (“Speak Your Truth”) and seeing more of their story as well.
All in all, great story with a great message on taking care of and standing up for ourselves. I’d love to know more about Ivy and Scott.
