Vivian is sick of dating. Sick of the way guys treat her, sick of living and crying by when and if they call...she’s just done.
When her aunt reminds her that a girl has to kiss a lot of frogs before she finds her prince - Aunt Gail says that number is 50 - Vivian decides she’s taking control of her dating life: She’s going to go on a series of first dates only, and each one must end in a kiss. She begins chronicling each date - the good, the bad, and the downright unbelievable - with a plan to turn the stories into an in-depth magazine series about the realities of dating in the 21st century.
Everything’s going along according to plan, until Vivian hits a bump in her road with Frog Number Five, who doesn’t seem to understand his role in this deal. And despite Vivian’s determination to make it all the way to the big five-oh, when fate keeps throwing this same man across her path, she begins to wonder if maybe it’s time to ditch the plan...and kiss just one more frog.

Contemporary romantic comedy.
Vivian is sick of dating. Her aunt has a theory that a girl must kiss a lot of frogs to find their prince. Vivian starts a dating project where each date ends with a kiss. She will write about her experience for the local paper. Charlie is number 5.
Cute and fun. Vivian and Charlie have a lot of chemistry and a lot in common. Even though Vivian is sick of dating, she is beautiful and attracts dates easily.
The premise was entertaining with an overall feeling of happiness.
🎧 I alternated between a paperback copy and an audiobook copy. I found both versions entertaining. The audiobook was narrated by Alaura Stone. She did a very good job for the heroine POV and voice variances. She voice contributor the light and joyful feeling of the book even when the dates didn’t exactly work out. I listened to this at my preferred speed of 1.2. I found anything higher was faster than a standard conversation.
