Flashman Revels Again

Are his nine lives used up after this book? Revolts and rockets! Hashish and lovers! Wolves and women!! Battle after battle after battle he builds history (in his own cowardly way). Hard to top this tale!

Flashman at his best...

Absolutely loved listening to another tale of our hero Flashman! I've read the series in its entirety and am now loving listening to the recordings. David Case is a brilliant mouthpiece for Flashman and the characters he encounters. You cannot go wrong with any of the Flashman papers read by Mr. Case.

One of the best flashman books with all the adventure and excitement that we have come to expect.

Absolutely outstanding! A rollicking romp through forgotten history.

George MacDonald Fraser is a highly entertaining author of irreverent historical fiction and the reader could not have been better. A belly laugh through forgotten history.

My favorite Flashman novel

Ever wonder what really happened with the Charge of the Light Brigade or how Yuqub Bek got the intel that thwarted the Russian invasion of Afghanistan and India?

Well, sit back, relax, and prepare to see the events through the eyes of the luckiest self serving coward and scoundrel in historical fiction!

Flashman's Fart makes history

I enjoy all the exploits of the ignoble Flashman. Clever ribald humor and exciting storytelling makes for excellent exscapist literature. The narrator was amazing!

Impossible to get better…unless

…each volume was longer! Fraser can have me giggling like a lunatic describing the most mundane (and sometimes not-so-mundane) interludes and David Case’s delivery is tailor made for this series. The range of the reader’s accents is amazing, exceeded only by Fraser’s dry wit, wry observations and self-deprecation. The human condition through the eyes of a perfectly delightful scoundrel. Superb!

Flashman

Flashman is a historical Forrest Gump. Wildly entertaining (if not a bit politically incorrect) although parts of the story might make you flench, the unblinking depictions give insight into many otherwise unknown- lost to history events, all in colorful style. Highly recommend!

the greatest adventure story written in 20c

amazing. the greatest adventure story, and most enjoyable book, and series of books I have ever read.

I've read the entire series 3x in my life since 1975. the "Charge" was one of his best.

David Case makes Flashman come alive.
