Publisher's summary

Fools rush in where gods fear to tread.

Hear that rumble? No, it's not my stomach, though I could really go for a goat or three. It's Thor. The Thor who threatened to knock my head off with his stupid hammer back in the Viking Age. As of 10 minutes ago, he was also my buddy, but revelatory runes and pissy Norns have a penchant for crapping on the great (former) god Loki. If mortality is a thorn in my side, Thor is a spiked baseball bat suppository.

But my enemy-turned-friend-turned-raging-berserker-maniac is only the tip of my massive iceberg of problems. Thor's daddy Odin wants a piece of me, preferably the piece that keeps me breathing. Strange things are afoot at the Asgard Awakening television studio in Los Angeles where my friends and I are about to guest star on the popular program. With a sudden shift in control behind the scenes of the show, mysterious players are arriving on set, and nothing is as it seems. As destructive forces from my past resurface in a disturbing pattern I know all too well, I'm having second thoughts about restarting Ragnarok. My immortality is no longer the only thing on the line. It'll be game over for humanity (again) if the centuries-old feud between the Odin crime family and the House of Loki bleeds into the modern world.

Fooled is the fourth and final book in the Asgard Awakening urban fantasy comedy series.

Intriguing, Sacastic, Magical Fun

What can I say about this book that probably hasn't been said before. The storyline is well written full of Gods, magic, action, sarcasm, and intrigue, with a side order of romance. The characters are well developed and relatable, especially Loki, who is overly dramatic and absolutely hilarious. I loved the fast-paced adventures and the magical little creatures who never ceased to amaze me, i.e., a "talking, candy eating chicken who drinks" and more.

The descriptive writing draws you into the story and takes you on a thrill ride that starts from the beginning till the end. Natalie Duke does a phenomenal job giving the characters and story life and making you fall on love and want to keep listening. I highly recommend this book if you like Gods, magic, sarcastic humor, and romance. This is my honest, unbiased review that I am voluntarily leaving.

So Fun!

This series is slept on. Slow burn romance. Gender bent, reincarnated Asgardians and crazy animal sidekicks... so entertaining and hilarious. Natalie Drake did such a great job narrating this.
I was surprised how much of a slow burn this was as I've read Kendall Grey's Strings series and this was the opposite on the smut scale. Her writing is great and kept me jumping to the next book, eager to find out what craziness Loki gets into next. I'm sad it's over.
