Story
The kingdom of Cornucopia was once the happiest in the world. It had plenty of gold, a king with the finest moustache you could possibly imagine, and butchers, bakers, and cheesemongers whose exquisite foods made a person dance with delight when they ate them. Everything was perfect - except for the misty Marshlands to the north, which, according to legend, were home to the monstrous Ickabog. Anyone sensible knew that the Ickabog was just a myth to scare children into behaving. But the funny thing about myths is that sometimes they take on a life of their own.

A Touchdown of Confidence
My 10-year-old son has always loved football, but he sometimes struggles with confidence, especially when things don't go his way on the field. I was looking for something that could help him build resilience and teach him valuable life lessons through his favorite sport. That's when I found this book. It promised to combine engaging stories and fun trivia to inspire young athletes to be role models on and off the field. We decided to listen to it together during our evening walks. The story highlighted the importance of perseverance, teamwork, and maintaining a positive attitude. After listening to this chapter, my son opened up about a recent game where he felt he let his team down. We discussed how setbacks are part of the journey and how important it is to learn from them. Since then, I've noticed a shift in his mindset; he's more optimistic and supportive of his teammates, regardless of the game's outcome.

Highly recommended!
This audiobook is inspiring, educational, and enteratining and is a great mix of football trivia and life lessons. The narration is also lively and energetic. From fun facts to the stories of legendary players (including some amazing women in football!), this audiobook shows how hard work, perseverance, and teamwork are involved both on and off the field. I loved how it focuses on character development. Kids will walk away not only knowing more football, but also how the sport can make them confident, compassionate, and positive role models in life. Highly recommended to families, coaches, and young athletes everywhere!

Tips for success not just in football but in life.
This was a through book about football. It included how to play, rules of the came, famous football players. The best part were the strategies for success. I think the content is a little heavy for 8-12 years. I think it would be better suited for high school kids.

Fun and Uplifting
I think this audiobook is a really fun intro to football, it is easy to follow, and packed with good vibes. What i thought worked well were the short stories about famous players, especially the ones who faced adversity. There’s even a section on women in football, which I don't think was needed but ended up appreciating. This is a solid pick for kids who love football or just want to feel inspired.
