About this listen

This box set contains Forgive Me My Sins & Deliver Me From Evil and tells the complete story of Santos Augustine and Madelena De Léon!

I’m not supposed to fall in love with my husband. It’s not part of my plan.

Forgive me.

Those were the first words Santos Augustine spoke to me before we sealed an unbreakable oath. A contract signed in blood binding me to him as payment for my father’s sins.

Wearing the mask of legitimacy, this powerful crime family has returned to Avarice to punish those who have wronged them and take what they’ve always been denied, a place among the elite.

Forced to marry my enemy, I’m thrust into his world of secrets and betrayals.

My husband is a dangerous man. And he has dangerous enemies. But it’s when I’m attacked that his fury is unleashed.

It’s then I see what it means to belong to Santos Augustine.

And although I know the safest place for me is in his bed, I can’t let myself fall in love with my husband.

*Please note this age-gap, arranged marriage mafia romance contains references to past self-harm.

Wow

I really enjoyed this duet. It has its twists and turns along with a lot of action and really good steamy scenes. The beginning third of this duet is setting up the story with flashbacks. Really enjoyed it!

Great

Great enemy to loves story I love mafia dark romance. This was a real plot twist. I really enjoyed it. The only thing I wish there was a second epilogue to give a little more information about the future how they ended up totally recommend.

Interesting story with compassion

This was my second reading of this story. I will say that the male narrator is much better than the female narrator in this particular narration. She was somewhat whiny and nagging while he was able to convey a sense of emotion and darkness needed for his story. That’s not a dig on the female narrator. I’ve heard her elsewhere and it’s different.

Natasha Knight’s books are usually very dark, skirting the edge of consent and rape (sorry about that). I like the hard edges, the triggers I could avoid. This one was tamer. It was dark but it was more about how twisted the characters themselves were. They all were damaged in one way or another, some by circumstance and some by an inner soullessness. The story here had some interesting plot twists and she manages to provide depth to these characters.

I highly recommend this book. It’s almost better on the second read.

Duped to Spend Money.

I thought this would be a good listen. The female narrator voice was high pitched the entire time. The story line was okay, Santos family was role in the plot seem to be predictable. I wish I didn't spend my money on this one! The male narrator voice made it for me!

My new second favorite Natasha Knight book

Honestly nothing will ever top Giovanni for me but this duet came close. Plot wasn’t as solid is my only real critique. I liked the more modern thinking in this book with such a strong female lead - no damsels here. Overall worth the credit

Would not recommend.

Worst story ever. I had to force myself to listen to this whole story. The heroine was awful. The hero was the only decent character.
