About this listen

San Diego is the next stop for Mystic Caravan, and after a trying time in the desert, the group is looking forward to a relaxing time on the bay.

There’s just one little problem.

The teenagers of San Diego—both girls and boys—seem to be going wild…and not in a direct-to-video way. They’re growing violent, but the girls seem to have a reason, and the boys just seem to be embracing violence at every turn.

Is it a vigilante spell gone wild? Or is it something worse?

Poet Parker recognizes there’s a gorgon on the scene—and not a normal one, but one from the original lines—and she’s suspicious. There’s more than that going on, however. There just might be a demon too.

It seems San Diego is mired in the middle of a domestic dispute—a gorgon versus a demon—and neither cares who is hurt in the crossfire.

Poet and her friends must pick a side and then win a war, because otherwise, all will be lost in America’s finest city. One way or another, one side has to lose. Which will it be, though?

Poet finds herself being pulled in multiple directions. She’s determined to figure out the best outcome for everybody. Will she be able to follow it through to the end, though?

You’re about to find out. Mystic Caravan is going to battle, and it’s going to get ugly.

Another Good One

The books are fast paced and easy to follow. Very entertaining. Not a bunch of repeating the same stuff. The only thing that will spoil a section is when Poet get all self righteous, though in this book it didn't happen nearly as much. Much appreciated! Hoping for more!

Love this series

Good narrator. Baron is a hoot. The pixie twins shine. Nellie needs to star in his own story.

Poet Rocks

Same great characters but the plot was a bit lacking. I look forward to the next book.

I love all the books about Poet. This is another fun story! I can’t wait to see where the crossovers lead.

Love all the books about Poet

I love the main characters. I truly do. I enjoy Poet and Cade’s relationship, when she not being absolutely horrible to him or emotionally cheating on him with Cole…gay or not. The way she and Cole speak about Cade and Luke behind their backs, makes me cringe. Barron is probably the most repulsive character I’ve read since I began reading or listening to books. Gone are the days when we would hear Poet’s lighthearted sarcasm that was really fun and funny. Everything has gone so incredibly dark. There’s occasionally something funny, but Poet has lost all her funny playfulness. I cannot believe that Amanda M. Lee so carelessly uses the names of real demons in her stories and passes them off as “minor”. They’re not minor. I find this totally irresponsible. Frankly, aside from Caitlin Kelly’s narrations, I can’t say anything good about this book.

I don’t mean to get sanctimonious but…
