About this listen

Lilith has been trusted to run the prestigious East Haven Resort while best friend Sarah is on her honeymoon. Not an easy task, especially when having to deal directly with head chef Adam, who's not only cocky, arrogant, and French, but damn sexy to boot. It's going to be the longest two weeks of her life.

Adam has tried to deny his attraction for the sexy auburn-haired goddess long enough. Now that their boss is away on her honeymoon, it seems like the right time to stir things up. But when someone tries to snake in on his recent claim, he might just have to step up his game to win the prize he desires.

It was Interesting to hear the narrator practice before getting the phrase or accent correct!

Enjoying this series but the editing needs serious help. Several places that need to be deleted after the narrator re-recorded audio.
Narration is good. Like the storylines. Enjoy seeing characters from the other books.

Preferred the first book in the series
but enjoyed the characters in both books. There was a bit of suspense in this book more than book one. The narrator was good with accents.

Not Bad

great narrator, great story, bad production, many sentences repeated. in some places this became very annoying

problems with production

The narrator used a whiney, nasally voice for Lily. Edit! Lines repeat often. So annoying!

Narrator was awful. Edit please!

How did the narrator detract from the book?

I am guessing that the narrator usually does a good job, but in this case, he struggled with the transition between languages and had to do a few tries on some lines- editor should have caught it and cleaned it up- a little distracting, but don't avoid the book because of it.

I enjoyed the story but some of the plot was not plausible. Lily's background for one and the way it was handled, as if there was pretty much no trauma as to what happened as a child. 5 minutes of exploding at the end (which was great) was not realistic or satisfactory for the entirety of the past. The author is a good writer, however some of the plot and events were just not believable.

good story but some plot fell short
