About this listen

When people say, "You're only as good as your last hit," are they referring to the music or the drugs? From the sidelines, the band's agent, tour manager, and record label have more say about whom they associate with than its members. And although Sage may have started as a muse travelling with lead singer Dex from the infamous rock band Whilder, her destiny as the future Mrs. Dex Whilder was never guaranteed.

There are other unexpected players involved in shaping the lives of the members of Whilder and their entourage. The King of roadies, BB Ewing, and his prodigal son, Rye, unwittingly mould the future of four men and one young, spirited muse in ways the band's handlers cannot. And, as Rye's notorious roadie father prepares to pass the reigns of his legacy down to him, one of the biggest upsets in his history as the King of Roadies unfolds.

Worth every minute!

I absolutely loved this book! So good, with amazing storyline and the characters.
This is a drama filled and slow burn romance. Dex, lead singer of a popular band and his muse/girlfriend Sage. He is an out of control rock star, to me he’s selfish and self centered. But this is a well written story about fame the drugs. And very special man Rye who is BB son. BB Ewing, famous Irish roadie.
The attraction between Sage/Finley and Rye is palpable in the midst of so much drama and tragedy in this storyline. Jacob Morgan is my Favorite male narrator and as always he was amazing and then his Irish brogue/accent was so very good! Ava Lucas ♥️ is a favorite of mine and so talented and omgoodness who was singing 🥰🥰🔥♥️ he’s super talented!
Okay, this book is more than worth a credit!

** Life On The Road **

The fame. The fortune. The groupies.
The s*x, dr*g* and rock ‘n roll.
From the outside looking in, WHILDER seem to have it all.
But life on the road requires so much more than that.
Camaraderie.
Friendship.
Family.
Love.

Rye Ewing has lived in a roadies bus for his entire life, experiencing the highs and lows of the bands who employ his father, in more ways than one.
And while he has everything he needs in life, there’s one thing he craves: the frustrating, beautiful, lead singers’ groupie girlfriend, Sage Lyric.

Sandra A. Sigfusson has written a novel that beautifully encompasses the realities of fame, of family and of love.
Paired with the fantastic performances of Ava Lucas, Jacob Morgan, Stephen Dexter and Dane Anderson (including a musical performance), “From Bridges to Breakdowns” is a must-add to your TBL library.

Even more fun in audio

I very much enjoyed reading this book. Rye and Finley are two young people who have a lot in their pasts. A groupie and a roadie. They 'hate' each other but love each other. But Finley is attached to Dex the lead singer and she is quite abused in that relationship.
A lovely story of finding your love, realizing your worth and fighting for the life you want. So many great characters in this book. Rye as the roadie who's lived his life on the road since he was a young child. BB his dad, and partner, with the words of wisdom(ish) and guidance. (Except where his mom is involved!) Finley as the groupie/girlfriend, again finding her strength to live the life she deserves. Even Dex, as awful as he is, is a intriguing character.
The voice talent of Jacob Morgan (and in Irish too!) Ava Lucas Stephen Dexter and Dane Anderson added so much to this story. They brought all these characters to life and made it even better than eyeball reading.
