Alternatively, this is for you if you are gardening in states like Alaska, Texas, Florida, Georgia, North and South Carolina, Tennessee, New England, Pacific Northwest, or in the deserts of Arizona or in Virginia.

People have found gardens to be great for spirituality. They have a great atmosphere to meditate unto God and in some instances, they act as a therapy. Some people like to do gardening at night under the full moon following religiously the gardening calendar.

This is a great gardening coffee table audiobook. Those who love gardening coloring books will love it. Also all who love gardening cookbook or those that would love to understand how to design the gardens and landscaping will love this. Use it to get notes for your diary. Instead of having a gardening encyclopedia, get this.

These are lessons for a lifetime from a Mother that was a gardener. Like beautiful butterflies, the garden becomes better with time. Gardening is not for dummies. It is for those that love the environment, history, and beauty whether you have a lot of money or just want to prepare one on a shoestring. It is a great gift for women and all those that love gardening and even seniors. Great guide, from tools such as gloves, shoves, etc, and hacks and secrets of gardening.

As a professional horticulturist, I was interested to hear this book to see what I might learn, and to discover a reference that I might share with the folks I work with that are just learning about the fun of gardening. The book starts out with the very basic things a person might need to get started. The author gets it right when she emphasizes the importance of creating great soil before the planting begins. She then goes into depth on how to plant and nurture each plant group. I learned a lot about producing peppers, and the rewards of each pepper variety. I do recommend this book to gardeners of all experience levels. Furthermore, I recommend this book to teachers to use as reference for their students.

The voice talent, Rebecca White, conveyed the enthusiasm and expertise written by the author Elizabeth Child. When Rebecca referred to the advice given by the author’s mother, I could clearly imagine a lady in sun hat and work gloves puttering in her garden as she dishes out the advice to her daughter.
