Reclusive collector Cutter Merlin is seldom seen in Key West - lately, not at all. Officer Liam Beckett visits Merlin’s curious house and discovers the gentleman in his study. In his death grip: a volume of occult lore and a reliquary. His eyes are wide with fright, his mouth a horrified rictus where spiders now dwell.
Kelsey Donovan returns to the old house to catalog her estranged grandfather’s collection of artifacts and antiquities, vowing to see his treasures divested properly. But she cannot ignore the sense that she’s being watched, the reports of malevolent black figures, the pervasive smell of death.
Is the Merlin house haunted, even cursed? Liam knows well that some ghost stories are true and he swears to protect Kelsey. But there are forces at work for whom one more life is a pittance to pay for their deepest desire.…

Not bad, gradually gained speed and momentum with an interesting endingWould you be willing to try another book from Heather Graham? Why or why not?
Sure, probably should have started with the first of this TrilogyWhat aspect of Angela Dawe’s performance would you have changed?
Too many male voice's needed in this particular story. Hard to pull off for a womenWhat would have made this romance irresistible?

Other reviewers are correct, there are some sex scenes described in detail, nothing too raunchy but they could have been left out; especially the last one. I mean we get it, they're dating and having sex...we don't need to be with them every time they do it.
I would definitely try this author again because it is an interesting concept.

yes with A. Dawe, yes on Heather Graham on sale. This was a sale book and was good for the price. This had a good mystery/outline, but you cannot start with this book unless a long time fan of author. I have since listened to book 1 and just re-listened to this book. Much better the 2nd time around. The ghost Bartholomew has the very best dialogue which I missed at the first listen and because I listened out of order, my bad. What narrator does with Bartholomew is so sweet!!!
Would you be willing to try another book from Heather Graham? Why or why not?
Yes if narrated by a fave eg: Ms Dawe. Author has a good outline, but you must read in order as the characters build up in each novel, if you start with this book out of order as I mistakenly did, you miss to much fun. Her mystery portion is good. I have tried a few, but no more unless her story has a fave reader of mine.Check out Sandra Brown. Her romance portions are not many, but the hero is always HOT!
What does Angela Dawe bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Ms Dawe has really improved over some of her early reads I had purchased. Ms Dawe use to turn up her voice at the end of sentences . I just download 2 more current works of hers and I look forward to listening to them. I now have over 100 of her reads. Check out Nora Roberts, the MacGregor series, not to be missed.
Do you think Ghost Moon needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?
this was a series, but did not love this book enough to purchase full price book 1 and 2, until I got book1 on first in series sale and re listened to this book!! The reviewers said this was the best of the series and it is if you listen to 1,2 , which I now own all 3 books, then you realize, yes this is good!. I could not fault it, but a good editor should have figured out how to best showcase the book if you read out of order like I did.
Any additional comments?
I love the ghost, Bartholomew as he had the best fun dialogue in all three books eg my title...author should follow that line a bit more. She had so many characters from her other books that it seems like an infomercial, if you start with this book. If you are a good storyteller, fans will seek out the books available. Each story is linked by our ghost, Bartholomew, bless his heart, eg coffee first thing in the morning. I went back and re listened to all three stories in order and realized how much fun Bartholomew dialogue I had missed. Buy all three on sale and listen in order for the most fun. Bonus at the end of each story, author gives out great recipes. WELL DONE

I loved how the book began and the whole mansion in itself was a great character with its contents and history in the area. I like the linkage of Bartholomew to each of the three stories and how is own story was concluded in this book. The story was more engaging and the author did a very good job of ramping up the intensity. A good finale to the trilogy.
The biggest disappointment was in the reveal of the big bad. The red herrings in the book would have been more appropriate and exciting in my opinion. My other disappointment is still with the character of Katie who seemed to be downgraded to a chirpy always girl not the strong character we met in the first book.
Decent Ending for the Trilogy
