Rachel ist das, was man eine gescheiterte Existenz nennt: geschieden, arbeitslos, alkoholabhängig. Einer Freundin, bei der sie wohnt, gaukelt sie vor, dass sie noch in London arbeitet. Deswegen fährt sie täglich mit dem Zug in die große Stadt und passiert das Vorstadt-Idyll, in dem sie einst mit ihrem Mann gelebt hat. Dabei sieht Rachel in einem der Gärten das perfekte Paar - bis die junge Frau eines Tages plötzlich verschwindet... Der Überraschungshit aus den USA ist hier noch ein Geheimtipp!

Is this related to Gone Girl?
The story seems similar to "Gone Girl," another weird character, this one who can't let go of her past and has nothing better to do than meddle in the life of others. If you liked Gone Girl, this one is for you. It is only to stay in the loop that I decided to read both.. Needless to say, I am not a fan.

I chose wrong language by a mistake and I couldn't
