Publisher's summary

Jay has gotten his cluster to come together.

But new challenges always appear. Most frustrating is an old crush from Earth joins them and throws questions into all of Jay's relationships. One truth remains. Their only hope is to grow stronger. To do that, they have to descend deeper into the dungeon. At the same time, Jay has to decide how he feels about the women in his life.

This book features unconventional relationships and some sexual content. It is intended for mature listeners.

Enjoyed it very much

I am really enjoying this series. It has a little bit for everyone - Overpowered MC and hot adult scenes,

Best in the series yet.

Aside from fairly annoying editing mishaps, such as repeated lines and repeated monologues that make you feel like you’re going crazy, or added lines that sound like they were recorded on a cell phone in a closet, this was definitely the best so far. It actually has quite a good sense of progression, along with much better written and balance of spicy content.

I almost quit the series after the second book, but this one restored my faith.

Sooo Good!

First off, the voice actors were great, as they always are; these two are consistently amazing.

Now for the actual book:

it follows and builds upon the same themes as the previous books. in fact, aside from a few of the initial chapters feeling weirdly short, it was perfect. they even spent less time on the steamy bits and more on their progression. that's not to say they cut it out, there was still plenty of detailed scenes here and there, but less of a sexual focus was actually pretty welcomed in my opinion.

Really looking forward to the next one!

now that's what I'm talkin about

this is now the fourth book that I have gone through with this author. The first one was from a new series that the gentleman started and is at the time of this review only available in e-book form. I like that book so much that I checked in to see what else the author had available. I came across this serious and I really like the first book with the exception of one scene which I absolutely hate it. The author did a fantastic job of balancing out that part in my opinion and so I moved on to book to we're essentially the exact same thing was true. Now I'm at the end of book 3 and there was absolutely nothing that I didn't like about it. In my past reviews I didn't recommend the series but at this point yeah if you're reading this review and you haven't bought in in yet I highly recommend this series. as of the time of this review this five book series has concluded with all books being available both in ebook and audiobook form. as for the narrator's I'm very familiar with their work and in my opinion they always do a fantastic job.

Every book keeps getting better!

If you liked/loved the first and second installments you'll feel the same about this one. Fast paced with plenty of action, character building, and arc progression. Can't wait for the next one!

As always Daniel and Rebecca = awesome sauce.

😳 Rebecca Woods needs a raise

If you liked the last two books you'll like this one. All I really wanted to say is the narration team does a really good.

well then

The only thing I'm not a fan of with this one is the MC ability to not listen to anything reasonable if it breaks his code. Never really saw the point of anyone else until it was shoved into his face.

You Must Descend 😮

Literally one of the best books I’ve ever listened to. The imagery, description of the locations/levels, and the cast's abilities are just spectacular. The story is deep, and rich and although the MC gets on your nerves (boy scout) because he takes on a bit more than he can chew most times, his reasons usually make sense and his harem forgives him quickly. Book one, two, and now three have all been Amazing. Can’t wait to see how he deals with the antagonist/Jasmine. Oh, this is a great addition to the genre. Please note that this series is not for children.

18+ and over only.

why is this soooooo damn good??

All I have to do is wait a week and a half so I can continue this amazing story with book 4. I found myself, like the other 2 books, yelling out at some of the craziness that was happening in the book while I was at work. Didn't care if I got crazy looks from co-workers. This series is too good and the narration and voice acting is godlike!!

Great world building and follow up.

I love where this series is going and the continued world building. The MC is growing, but at a pace that is relatable. He has trauma in his past and he doesn't get past it all with one heart felt conversation. It's a struggle for him as it should be. The author is able to introduce new characters and give them good back stories while still keeping the focus on our main protagonist and villain's. I highly recommend the series and this book.
