They fell in love in high school and found their way back to one another despite the odds. But can first loves really be forever? For Reed Johnson the dream was always football. But then Nolan Lennox took over his heart. Is he willing to give up his first love just to keep his true love? Or will he be too late? 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 A must read series

I love this story! So many good things. I’ll leave it at that so just trust me on this one. You should read/listen to the first book (Waiting on the Sidelines) to get the full experience of this love!
Narrators did a great job, as well.

Love these kids' love story!

I will say that Book 2 was not as good as Book 1 but I still loved it! The main characters are maturing in Book 2 so I cant wait to read Book 3. No spoiler- but I cant wait to see what the cliff hanger in Book 2 leads to in Book 3!

Have tissue ready!

This is an awesome love story. It’s real! I’m glad Nolan is honest, no matter what she thinks might happen good or bad she is honest and true!

Soo good!

I absolutely loved this one! It will break your heart for a time too though. These two are meant to be and truly do love each other but circumstances and life have made things difficult. They found their way together and back together in high school/start of college (first book in series) and now they are starting their junior year of college and life is hitting them hard again. Nolan and Reed are great characters and they show more growth in this story as they continue to grow up and have to deal with hard things. It is hard to get through the fear and find the words to share what needs to be said and it doesn't always come across clear. Miscommunication and people interfering are a huge part of what causes issues between these two. I will tell you that they heal your heart and fill it full by the end of the story but it is going to hurt as you just want to tell them to "just say it" multiple times throughout the story but it's also understandable with their history and age and experiences why it's not that simple and easy as it seems. This story pulled me in from beginning to end and I truly loved it.

Young love

This story was about young love and it was good but not great. The whole story was about the main characters miscommunication that led to different events. I'm not into this type of plot because it just drag and at the end, there wasn't really anything memorable about the story. I loved sports romance but I had mixed review with this one. I loved the performance more than the story so that said a lot about it. Both characters were immature since they didn't know anything about talking things out instead of assuming. I will finish the series but it won't be in my list to re listen/read. if you like this kind of plot, this story may be for you.
