For hundreds of years, Nightmares have ruled the world.
Descended from the Seven Deadly Sins, these supernatural creatures have enslaved and tortured the human race.
I have lived my entire life fighting back against the monsters that have plagued this world. A deadly assassin and a member of the resistance, I only have one motto: kill or be killed.
When the Damning commences (a fight to the death against the world's most brutal serial killers, assassins, and torturers), a twist of fate finds me as one of the competitors. Despite my initial reluctance, I find myself eagerly participating.
But what I didn't count on, however, were the seven princes:
- Lupe, a shifter descended from Wrath.
- Devlin, a genie descended from Greed.
- Jax, a vampire descended from Gluttony.
- Killian, an incubus descended from Lust.
- Ryland, a shadow descended from Pride.
- Sebastian, a mage descended from Sloth.
- And Dair, a mermaid descended from Envy.
Our love could never be. I'm an assassin, and they are my targets.
But who ever said I needed to follow the rules? If only I can survive the Damning....
This is a medium-burn reverse harem romance. Expect a kick-ass, snarky MC, seven swoon-worthy heroes, and a lot of bloodshed. This is the first audiobook in the series.

The concept of the different races and their connection to a specific sin was interesting
The problem starts in the second half of the book as the MC and the men start internally monologing far too often and when they do it is too often filled with verbosity (Yes i looked it up...i was curious if there was a word for it), I understood the intellectual shifter thinking of a poem in his head but all 7 Main men take the same aspect on and use 3 to 6 adjective heavy sentances in their mind trying to pain a picture and as it drags out one thing becomes completly unforgivable and thats the ending.
As you wonder how long the adjectives will go on for you realize there is only an hour left in the story....i guess the author realized this too because **SPOILERS**.................compeltly out of nowhere an evil so evil the MC cant stand his "evilness" just appears out of nowhere with a deep connecting to one of the MC's best friends.....just as quickly he is killed along with others and the story ends like a freight train slamming into another frieght train. Its all so abrupt and the author trys to cram in so much it just feels bad. I will still pick up book 2 but if the internal monologing continues ill probly return them and give up.
Good Story plagued by internal dialague

With the two people you trust and consider family, you face this new mission like any other mission.
But tunnel vision makes you blindsided…
In book 2, will Fate find the happiness taken from her? Do things get more complicated? Will the other assassin’s words ring true? Will Z need to save herself again? Or, will her mates? Can’t wait for book 2 to find out!
Heart wrenching revenge
