Just as great.....

..... as reading the book.

I got this for my young niece to listen to and found I listened more than she did.

Just like Dr. Suess himself the book is great for kids to listen to on car rides.

An old favorite!

Loved it! I have shared this book with my son ( many years ago) and now with my granddaughter. It is timeless and a joy to hear her giggle over rhyming words...say what you will... they don't call them classics for no reason.

The Dr. Seuss classic comes to life.

Jason Alexander provides an entertaining interpretaion of the Dr. Seuss classic in this audio version of Green Eggs and Ham. I asssigned the printed version of the book to my first grade ESL students. After we read and worked with the book in class, I recommended they look for and listen to the audiobook. Both, parents and students, told me how much they loved listening to it. They also said it helped them improve their reading, listening, and speaking skills by reading along and imitating the narrator's pronunciation.

Funny

I liked his vocal inflections. I had never thought about how frustrated the guy was before.

Wonderful Narration Honors a Classic Book

If you're on this page, I doubt I need to sell you on Dr. Seuss's work. 'Green Eggs and Ham' is, of course, a classic. Jason Alexander's performance is brilliantly hammy, just as one would expect from somebody reading a kids' book aloud. He reads in distinct voices for Sam-I-Am and the hesitant diner, both perfectly Seussian. I also own the eleven-story "Cat in the Hat" collection, but this is the best Dr. Seuss reading I've heard yet.
