What made the experience of listening to The Cat in the Hat and Other Dr. Seuss Favorites the most enjoyable?

My boys (aged 2 and 5) love this book. The characterizations that the different actors give make them want to listen to it over and over. They love listening to it while they are playing, laying down, and in the car. They've got some of it memorized because of the actors. They love it.

What did you like best about this story?

The boys loved everything.

What about the narrators’s performance did you like?

The different voices, the rhymning, pretty much everything.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Would you consider the audio edition of The Cat in the Hat and Other Dr. Seuss Favorites to be better than the print version?

Depending on the situation, yes. We enjoy playing it in the car for long car rides and also for my son to fall asleep to some nights when he is too energetic to fall asleep after reading books.

Any additional comments?

Great to keep a young toddler entertained in ways other than popular radio stations in the car or falling asleep to the television.

My 3 year-old loves it!

Nothing is more wonderful than Cat in the Hat and the entire Dr. Seuss series. They're read by all award-winning actors and actresses. The children in my classroom are transfixed when they listen to the stories on audible. It's amazing and I can't say enough about the audible having all these books together in one place.

amazing book series

Would you consider the audio edition of The Cat in the Hat and Other Dr. Seuss Favorites to be better than the print version?

Nothing beats the printed copy of any book but I do recommend the audio version for people that read on the go.

exciting & intriguing

The source material is unquestionably good; the readings are *mostly* very good; the music is intrusive, superfluous, and frankly, grating. Dustin Hoffman is the best of the bunch, showing incredible class and demonstrating that he is an Actor (capital A) even when reading "Horton Hears a Who". Not bad for a car trip, but you'll miss the pictures.

Good, but.....
