Great Story

This is the second book of the Chasing Graves trilogy. The narrators are a perfect fit for switching between the main characters, and help to give an extra element of life to this already great story! Love the writing, and can't wait to see what happens next!

Plot line moving slowly along.

In my review of the first book of this series I said that the story had some interesting world building and premise, but the plot had nothing really going on. I wasn't sure if I would move on, but due to a lack of current books from series I am listening to and the excellent narration of this series, I decided to do just that.

Unfortunately, this book continues its plodding pace from the first book. There is still not much happening in the storylines of three of the characters, and the most highlighted character is the villain, who is comically evil and unlikable. The book does seem to pick up steam in the last quarter or so.

Overall, I probably would not have started this series had I known how long it would take the plot to develop. I'm hoping the pace at the end of this book will lead into at least a good series ending book that will payoff my patience through the first two.
