Publisher's summary
The end of an era
In the months since I started mentoring fellow wizard James Wesson, he’s grown into an adept magic-user, less likely to shoot from the hip. We’ve also become good friends.
But when he fumbles what was to have been our final case together – deliberately, I suspect – we’re back to square one, and just as an old enemy we’d figured for bleached bones returns from the dead … with a haunting warning.
A blood-thirsty being is on the rise, resurrecting Old West outlaws. But who is this El Diablo? All evidence points to an eccentric billionaire whose estate lies just outside our jurisdictional reach. Worse, an old-school sheriff seems determined to keep it that way.
As menaces teeter into full-blown madness, I’m counting on James to ramp up his smarts and spell-casting. Success will mean the end of the Croft and Wesson era, but failure could condemn all of Grimstone to a hellish oblivion.
And that’s a sunset ride this magic-toting duo can’t abide.
The Croft & Wesson trilogy is a spinoff of the Prof Croft series (set after Book 4) but stands on its own. If you like buddy wizards, occult mysteries, and wild spell-slinging in one of the Wilder Wests around, you’ll love Croft & Wesson!

Story
Enter the wizard duo of Croft and Wesson. That’s Professor Everson Croft, the bookish spellcaster from New York City, and James Wesson, the smooth-talking, skirt-chasing, wannabe cowboy. Confronted with everything from resurrected outlaws to ancient evils, two mages are better than one, right? Sure, if they can stop butting heads long enough to solve a case. And maybe—just maybe—not blow Grimstone off the map.

If I’m to restore the druids to their former glory, I’ll need a safe place to train my recruits. Ideally, someplace where they won’t get curb-stomped by the gods. I can’t think of a better place to hide out than an alternate timeline where the gods and fae are too busy fighting a civil war to bother with little old me. So, it’s time to head back, settle old scores, clear the alternate timeline Earth of the undead, and plant some new druid groves.

Colin is a druid on a mission. Namely, traveling to an alternate dimension where technology rules, to snag the tech he needs to save his friends in the Hellpocalypse timeline. At first, it sounds simple. He’ll slip through the timestreams, do a little sightseeing, and go home. Heck, it might even be fun to visit a world where actual superheroes exist. But for creation’s unluckiest druid, nothing is ever easy. When things go horribly wrong, Colin finds that his magic is almost completely on the fritz.

My name is Nate Temple, and I’m secretly a wizard. I ride a foul-mouthed unicorn, I drink with Achilles, and I’m pals with the Four Horsemen. I’ve even cow-tipped the Minotaur. I understand the theory of following the rules...I’m just not very good at the application. Because rules were meant to be broken, and St. Louis has a bit of a supernatural infestation these days. Someone should probably be keeping an eye on these things -and probably an eye on me, too. Before I blow up another building...or three.

Story
In the not-too-distant future, a 21-member crew launches from Earth. Their mission: to establish a temporary colony on Mars. Little do they know that colony will become permanent–and the last stand of the human race. Because, without warning, every single person left on Earth simply...vanishes. Now, a thousand years later, the resources needed to sustain life are running out, and the very existence of the Mars colony is threatened. Humankind has only one option–to return to its home planet.

Croft Wesson
I have to say that I like the Croft Wesson series just as much as the Prof Croft series, if not a little more. Too bad this is the final entry. It would be good if they could have some more adventures together. I thought this was the best one in the series, just wish that all of them were a little bit longer. Love the different characters and the setting. Who knows, maybe the author who will give us some more.

such a great trilogy
I'm sad its only a trilogy. I think these stories still have legs and could continue the Grimstone legacy.

Great trilogy
Written and preform very well. Investing characters nice story telling with a great balance of comedic relief.
