Love Harry Nile!

Even though these were recorded in the 70s, Jim French did a wonderful job of re-creating the flavor of the old time radio of the 30s and 40s! The last episode in this collection, revolving around the December 7, 1941 attack on Pearl Harbor, really evokes a powerful emotional response; great series. I’d get ALL of the episodes if I could!

A wonderful into to Harry Nile ¹

I've been a fan of Jim and Pat French for a while. I thought I'd known th story o$ how Harry got his start. To find this...it was amazing. I'm hoping I'll find the episodee which introduce us to Murphy as welle.

This must be the beginning

I have listened to a few HN episodes on Sirius and other streaming services so was drawn to this which seems to be the beginning? Anyway quite a different HN than in the episodes I had listened when he was working in Seattle and things were fairly normal in comparison to the initial episodes in this.

If You Love Johnny Dollar Then Welcome To Harry Nile and Murphy

Jim and Pat French may be gone but the Harry Nile series will live on. Waiting for the next collection which is out for sale in CD so it should have already appeared here. This is a great series that could have been on the air with all the classic private eyes of the past.
