I'm really enjoying this series on audble. Love how Ms Summers writes her charters so well written and the narration just brings it to life. Story movies well plenty of twist and turns hope you enjoy.

Where does Haunting rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

One of my favorites - i love the writing, love the characters and i think the narrator is fabulous.

What other book might you compare Haunting to and why?

I think it's smarter and sexier that Twilight personally... Beanie is a brilliant character and Remmie is just about my favorite vamp character ever. This episode in the series had me turning pages a mile a minute and at one point I actually exclaimed out loud. For an indy author, Summers is at the top of her game.

Which character – as performed by Joel Froomkin – was your favorite?

Remmie - absolutely. He's sexy as hell and this book really brings out depth and layers to the character. I'm really excited that Summers has written a prequel for the character that gives us more backstory.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Yes. If you like vampire fiction for grownups you will really fall for these characters. I can't wait to find out what happens next and I'll certainly be a long-term fan of the series.

This series will surprise you. If you manage to make it through the bad narration trust me the story is worth it! I found myself on the edge of my seat for the first time in a long time! Talking back to the computer screen. This one does have a little bit of back-and-forth. Angst. And if you can look past the fact that the narrator goes for sportscaster to his best impersonation of Blanche Devereaux and/or senior drag queen. You should find it very entertaining. This one definitely gives you moments where you just wish you could reach reach through the screen grab the characters and slap them around a bit. Personally, or maybe that's just me. I don't know LOL I read all three of these novels on the Romance package and I truly am planning to add all three of them to my library permanently. I absolutely loved Remington's character and Sabine's although I will say there are plenty times throughout this particular book where they both leave you going WTF? But then that's what makes a good hero Romance. I can't figure out if this is a beauty times the beast or starcrossed lovers type thing and I think that's what makes this series of interesting is that the little bit of all of the things put together shorter seamlessly and really enjoyed it. I've already decided I'm going to tell friends about this one!

These characters are fabulous and I love the way this story has developed. Love the audio versions - I think the narrator does an amazing job with Remy and Sabine... and I can't wait for book three. Book two is a real roller coaster - and I found myself unable to put it down towards the last few chapters. Do yourself a favor and try out Willow Creek...Just when I thought the vampire craze was tapped out - this gave me characters I've cared about more than in any other series.

The Willow Creek Vampires series is what vampire romances used to be and everything that I love in Paranormal Romances. There is a plot, YES A PLOT! There is romance without it becoming Porn. The romance is descriptive, yet it doesn't cross the line in being too explicit. I listened to the first book in the series and immediately bought the 2nd one. Halfway through the 2nd book I knew that I had found a new author that I loved and purchased the final book in the trilogy. Finally, an author that hasn't gone extremely porn yet gives you enough to be romantic. And to top it off, there is a plot. I just can't say that enough.

It is nice to know that some authors are reverting back to the quality stories the paranormal genre used to be instead of going totally pornographic. Don't get me wrong, I love descriptive romances but don't want to hear the entire books being nothing but porn sex. A little goes a long way and I enjoy a plot. Thank you Stephanie Summers for giving us a good series with an actual story that keeps the listener engaged.

I do have 1 complaint. The books are too short. They could have combined this trilogy as all three books together are only 14 hours and the average time of most audiobooks. Book 1 was slightly less than 6 hours and book 2 and 3 only 4 hours each. Not worth the credits if the selling point is on time alone They should sell this series together as a complete collection or saga.

Now I must go on to book 3 in the trilogy to make sure Remmy is OK.

This continues where the fist book leaves off. It was good but not as suspenseful as the first book. There is almost no sexual tension & the story seemed to unravel at a slower pace too. It ends with an obvious open ending to Segway into the next unreleased book.

It gets a little slow at times but over all a good story arch. Ends on a cliffhanger though so get ready to get the third & final one afterwards!
