O. Henry
Heart of the West is a collection of 19 short stories that take place in the Southwestern United States, penned by legendary author O. Henry. With his customary wit, the author paints a beautiful - and amusing - picture of the Old West. His stories all end with a twist, often to comedic ends, sometimes with tragedy. O. Henry brings the Old West alive in these stories as only he could.

What does Rich Miller bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
I have not listened to a book by Rich Miller prior to this book. The narration is good with just enough of a Western twang to fit with the theme of the book without going overboard. The pacing of the narration is good and overall does the author justice.Any additional comments?
What can I say, O. Henry is who he is. These are good stories, narrated well by Rich Miller.I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

The narrator was perfect for these stories. Just enough good ole boy accent, but not so much as to be distracting. The only bad thing I can say about this audiobook is that O. Henry loved to use unusual words in his stories & it is hard to stop & look them when listening to a book.
I received the audiobook version of this book from the narrator or publisher & chose to review it.
