Narrator will make your ears bleed

Omg this narrator is the most horrible narrator I’ve ever heard. Why they switched to this one, I’ll never ever know. Please re-record

Narrator is horrible

Love the story line but the narrator is like listening to fingernails in a chalkboard. She pauses is the wrong places and her accents are terrible. I thought the last narrator (Carol Schneider I think) was awful but we jumped out of the pot into the fire. I’m invested in the story line now but probably won’t buy any other series of Debra Webb books if either of these narrate.

How to stop a killer

This series is killing me!! Seriously!!
The serial killer, Eric Spears, has ramped up his ‘game’ with Chief Jess Harris. As Jess and her team keep following clues, and dead bodies, they are always a step behind. Can they stop this killer before he destroys everyone and everything that Jess holds dear? Meanwhile, Chief of Police, and Jess’s fiancé, has been suspended on suspicion of murdering his missing narcotics chief...and possibly, one of his ex wives. As this book comes to a close, the cliffhanger is HUGE!! I need the next book!! The suspense is killing me!!
This series is well written with the perfect blend of romance and suspense. The characters aren’t perfect but they are all trying to be honest with themselves and their other halves. The camaraderie between the team is heartwarming....every office needs this kind of trust and ppl who will cover your back.
The narration is excellent! Each character has a distinct voice and their personalities just fit what I imagine them to be. ICYMI...I am enjoying this series!

Drawn out just to sell another book

I was enjoying this series until this book. I feel the author just decided to fill the book with not really a story and end it prematurely just so she could sell another book. This all could have been part of the previous book. Not a book in itself like the others. Very disappointed.
