Couldn’t even focus on the information because of how bad the narration was. Every other word was bounced with needless emphasis, multiple things were mispronounced, and it even seemed like an accent changed every couple of sentences. I truly wanted to learn something but couldn’t focus on the information for the life of me.

Awful narration.

At times I found myself drifting from what was being read, because I could only picture Kent Brockman from The Simpsons reporting on Hekate.

Hi-diddly-ho, fellow Hecate enthusiast! Ned Flanders delivers a lot of valuable information in just a little over three hours. Toodily-oodily, and may the triple goddess bless your noodily!

Comprehensive great information. The reader was a bit lackluster and robotic. Overall I would recommend.

You are sooo spot on!
I was picturing Principal Skinner, but Kent Brockman, Ned Flanders or Harry Shearer himself, are also correct.

Was Marge not available?
hmmmmmm......

To the people who said the narrator must be a Simpsons character...

I purchased this not with credits, but with cash. I really want to learn more about the goddess and I was very excited to begin to listen to this book. But honestly, I really just can’t get past the narrator. The entire reading sounds like a commercial. He mispronounce his words and it is an incredible distraction. I’m not even going to continue listening to it. I’m going to get another book narrated by a female narrator which honestly I really think they should’ve done here.

I wish I could return this book
