About this listen

What do you do when your fated mate is your worst enemy?

After seeing so many of my friends find the kind of love I used to think only existed in fairy tales, I can’t help but hope the mate bond will spark for me too. It seems more possible than ever, now that we’ve made it off Nuthora and arrived on Vox.

Whether I find a mate here or not, though, I consider the Voxerans my people. I’m invested in their future, and I plan to do everything I can to support Droth’s bid to retake power from his uncle. So when he puts together a small group of rebels to do recon near the palace, I volunteer to be part of it.

When something goes wrong and our scouting party is almost discovered, I throw myself into danger to protect the others, creating a distraction by allowing myself to be taken by the palace guards.

It’s clear they don’t know what to do with me. They weren’t expecting to see a Terran woman on their planet. But when a new Voxeran arrives to decide my fate, I take one look at his piercing blue eyes and my heart lurches in my chest.

Because I recognize him.

It’s Kardax, Prince Droth’s brother.

One of the men we’re fighting against. A man who stands for everything I despise.

And the universe has chosen him as my fated mate.

Her Alien Enemy is a full-length stand-alone sci-fi romance featuring blue-skinned alien warriors, a feisty heroine with a big heart, and the hardened prince who should be her enemy.

If you like sexy aliens, steamy romance, and thrilling adventure, you’ll love this series. No cheating, no cliff-hanger, and a happily ever after guaranteed!

Note: Each book in the series can be listened to as a stand-alone, but for maximum enjoyment, it’s recommended that the series be listened to in order.

Best book

This was by far the best book in the series. Full of suspense and drama; the storyline crescendoed into the build-up of leading up to this point in the series. Not a full moment. Narrators did an excellent job with characters.

Pretty good series ending

Overall it was pretty good. I still think some of the earlier books are better, but this one capped everything off nicely. It did drag a bit in a few places with some repetitive internal monologues, but it wasn't too annoying or distracting. From the series perspective, I do wish the Epilogue was from Charlotte's point of view since she was the start. Just would've been a nicer way to close it out in my opinion.

The only real complaint I have is on the audio production. C.J. Grey's narration was so quiet at times it required his parts to be put almost on full volume. There was also noticeable background static when having to increase the volume for his parts. It wasn't bad, just frustrating to have to fiddle with the volume more frequently than should have been necessary. I don't blame him, his narration was great as usual, the issue was clearly with the production.
