About this listen

Pretending to date isn't as easy as it sounds.

Belle Evans has won a cruise at just the right time. But when her ex-fiance shows up on the same ship with his new love, she can't let him think she's a loser. Good thing her cute neighbor in the suite next to hers was hanging around. When Tristan Stone inherits his grandmother's cruise line, he thinks it the perfect opportunity to be a regular guy - all while checking out his new business. A relationship wasn't even on the horizon until Belle Evans blurts out he's her boyfriend.

A girl afraid of getting her heart broken, a guy trying to keep his identity a secret, and nine days at sea.

No way at all this could backfire....

She wants a break. He wants to remain in disguise. When they're forced together, it's not long before lines blur.

Sweet fairytale

Characters were realistic, but predictable. The end of the story could’ve been fleshed out more.

Ridiculous

Totally ridiculous storyline. The female lead had to be the dumbest chic ever...who would spend their vacation with their cheating ex fiancee and their back stabbing "best friend".

most annoying friend

I enjoyed the premise of this story, but couldn't finish it. Belle wins a free cruise and meets Tristan, billionaire in disguise, on day one. Her former best friend follows her on the trip with the fiancé she stole from Belle. While I can appreciated Belle's desire to forgive, her best friend is a hideous person who JUST WON'T LEAVE. Rather than tell her directly, Belle gets snippy with her and allows her to continue tagging along. About a half hour into that section, I couldn't take it anymore. The narrator was talented and I liked Tristan. I hope they found their HEA. Clean, contemporary romance.

Horrible Narration

Why oh why is it the same narrator for the whole series? I muscled through the first book but I can't do it for the whole series.

loyalty and commitment to friendship

I really liked the storyline and how much faith the two heroes had in their friendship alone.

Not For Me

I thought the FC was stupid and more of a doormat than humanly possible. Both main characters were kinda sad. The ex's were cartoon villains. I skipped to the end around halfway because I couldn't listen to it anymore.
