The narration is good but the voice of the 18 year old is too immature. The story is wow. I just knew that Parker was too good to be true. Then he got caught. I kept thinking that Kate wasn’t a believable enough character because she was so easily willing to forgive him. Her medical problems kept worrying me. The teenagers problems were very normal. I couldn’t quit listening. The ending left me dumbfounded.

Different doesn’t translate to bad. I prefer a cleaner book, but I’m a finisher. The story was good and I enjoyed the medical side of it. I was super surprised at the ending, but won’t spoil the twist. The narrator has a pleasant voice and gives a nice performance.

I received this audiobook free in exchange for an honest review. I’ve enjoyed a couple books from this author but it is now apparent that she writes a range of stories that some have topics I’m not interested in. I was not willing to complete this book. I listened to enough of it to know enough of the story and leave a review but wasn’t interested in finding out how the story ends. This book contains infidelit and both male and female homosexual situations. I enjoy reading sweet, HEA and this story was not something I care to continue reading and cannot recommend this book. The narrator did a decent job.
