About this listen

Get ready to enjoy these best-selling Christmas cozy mysteries in one box set!

Jingle Bells and Deadly Smells

Christmas is that season: that season of pleasant surprises, delicious smells, and family and friends to share the holidays. This Christmas, Sandy Bay’s lovable bakery owner, Meghan Truman, gets a whole lot more than she bargained for - plus a dead body at the door of her favorite restaurant. Some people would rather sweep this murder under the carpet but something smells awfully fishy about the events surrounding it. Will Meghan join Detective Irvin to find the murderer, or will this event serve to etch unpleasant memories of this most wonderful time of the year?

Queen Tarts and a Christmas Nightmare

Two murdered business associates. One family under the scrutiny of a conservative town. A bride-to-be in need of some comfort and joy. Meghan is ready to celebrate the holiday season in style with the man of her dreams by her side. All that changes when she receives a text message. It's from her mum, who discloses that her father is very sick. She needs to get back to Texas - fast. She has mixed feelings about going home as she's not visited for several years. On her trip to Texas she encounters two murders, characters from her past she'd rather forget, and family members disappointed in her recent choices.

As the very fabric of her family's existence is torn apart by accusations surrounding the murders of close friends, Meghan longs for the peace and tranquility of her adopted hometown of Sandy Bay. She is an emotional wreck and is confronted with betrayals, accusations, disappointments, homesickness, sad revelations, jealous friends, and a murder investigation. Make that two murder investigations! Some people wish Christmas could be every day. Meghan just wants this Christmas nightmare to end. Will she help to find the killer and restore the essence of this most wonderful time of the year?

Mistletoe and Deadly Kisses

A murdered heartbreaker. A trail of broken hearts. A small town florist eager to find true love and a killer on the loose. When Tracy and her colleagues set up a challenge to raise money for a good cause, the town of Fern Grove is happy to offer their support. They never expected that it would attract the attention of some crooked characters. When one such character, a shameless heartbreaker, is found dead, it seems the town is happy to turn a blind eye. Tracy feels a sense of responsibility and pity towards the family of the deceased. But who killed him?

Should a person’s past determine if they’re given a fair trial in the court of public opinion? Was his murder accidental or a calculated undertaking? Christmas is the season of sharing and caring but did the deceased share a kiss that turned deadly? With Christmas just around the corner, and a murder investigation growing cold, will Tracy’s curiosity help to find the killer - and possibly love - under the mistletoe?

Plus an extra bonus cozy story.

A well-written short read from a good author

Jingle Bells and Deadly Smells (Sandy Bay Cozy Mystery Book 10). Well-written & enjoyable. Another cute, clean cozy mystery. I really enjoy the development of the supporting characters over the course of the series

Queen Tarts and a Christmas Nightmare (Sandy Bay Cozy Mystery Book 17), my eighteenth read from author Amber Crewes. I was impressed and enjoyed the vocal variety & inflections of narrator Elena Marino who has become the voice for Meghan Truman. I look forward to reading more in this series & from this author

Mistletoe and Deadly Kisses (Fern Grove #4), my second read from author Abby Reede. Well-written & enjoyable. Another cute, clean cozy mystery with well-developed characters and detailed settings. I look forward to reading more in this series & from this author when I get them. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018).

Her family ruins everything. including these books

Be prepared to despise this woman's extremely toxic family. Would be much better if she didn't constantly take their garbage. I tried so hard to enjoy them since I purchased the box set, but I couldn't get past her horrendous parents.

Great listen for the Holidays

It's pretty entertaining I am glad I bought it. Holiday season mysteries what's not to like. The narrator does a very good job too.

Weakest Main Character you will ever Cringe over!

Book one… omg ! First, main character comes from very super southern Texas family all of whom have deep southern accents… except!!! The main character who for some totally unknown reason has a north east accent! What??? Italian lady.. Italian accent needed to be practiced, pretty sure it was Russian. Story , for adults? Hardly!! Perhaps for tweens. Main character is a very bad example for anyone , she grovels at every irritating demand from her parents, a whiny southern bell mother who wants her way and only hers, cuts daughter down constantly then sweet talks her. A demanding , iron fist father who treats all his girls and wife like weak little ladies. A fine example of how not to treat women. The murders themselves are secondary in this mess of stories. Do not waste your credit on this trio . I listened to the first and most of the second and just couldn’t deal with this spineless main character anymore. I’d give it minus stars if possible. This author should be ashamed for writing such drivel!!

Ugh, just terrible!

I downloaded this set to listen to on a holiday road trip with my sisters. We did our best to continue with these stories, but the “mysteries” were just after thoughts to a constant exploration of some of the dumbest and most unpleasant characters we have come across.

Trying too hard

The narrator was too much, especially with the "Texas" accents. Meghan was too passive ad nauseum. I just wanted to finish that I fast forwarded.
