About this listen

Joey Wells has a score to settle in Pueblo: Find Jacob Murdock and the band of vaqueros who attacked his wife and drown them in their own stinking blood. Smoke Jensen, the trigger-ready legend of the "High Lonesome," is more than willing to strap on a brace of 45's to help out Wells - especially if it involves nailing some dirty renegades to the wall.

But things are tougher than Jensen imagined. Murdock and his men aren't just hiding out in Pueblo - they've taken it over. Outnumbered in a town of desperadoes, Smoke is numero uno on Murdock's most-wanted list. But even with a price on his head, Smoke can still dole out his own unforgiving brand of justice. And when the sun goes down, he's going to take them on one by one, and blow each and every hide back to hell.

Performed by Mort Shelby, James Lewis, Michael Glenn, Christopher Scheeren, Tim Getman, Jeff Allin, Richard Rohan, Thomas Penny, Drew Kopas, Tim Carlin, Terence Aselford, Michael John Casey, Steven Carpenter, Ken Jackson, Danny Gavigan, Eric Messner, Elizabeth Jernigan, Joe Brack, Karen Carbone, Johann Dettweiler, James Konicek, Nathanial Perry.

This is a good book to listen to. Smoke is helping a friend. ( Joey) There going after some outlaws. Cal and Pearly is in this book also. There is plenty of action and adventure in this one. Shoot outs and fights. A lot of Friends helping Friends out. I expcially like the way pearly and Cal looks out for each other and for Smoke. I would prefer one narriater over these type of books but I did enjoy this and I will be getting more of these dramatized books. If my review was any help will you please click on the helpful link below. Thank you

I love the story but i want it read to me as a story. Not all the BS. Which is my own fault. It did say graph novel. I just like it to be read as it is written.

Are Terrible it is a damn shame book 20 is only available in this crappy format. I have so far really enjoyed these mountain man series and im sure I will enjoy more books just not this adaptation why this is not available as a normal audible book is very confusing and I sure would like to enjoy this particular book in the series dont waste your money on this Dramatized book the people who put it together make it way to busy and it makes it hard to follow the storyline especially while trying to relax so you can sleep at the end of the day
