About this listen

T1ghtBuns: I could knead the best bread you've ever eaten on those tight abs.

TopM4N: *snorts* you sure you're on the right app?

I’m a born romantic. He doesn’t believe in relationships.

Two things we agree on...together we are electric, and we want casual. We’re both best men at a wedding, and guess where the bachelor party is?

As they say, what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas...or does it? Waking up married to an unshakeable bachelor is one thing. Accidentally falling in love with him however, is what could get me into real trouble...

How to Catch a Bachelor is the fourth book in the Chester Falls series and features an opposites attract and waking up married tropes, a family with a penchant for inappropriate gifting, lot’s of cinnamon buns, and a small town like no other.

Okay story and okay narration

The story drags some through the first 2/3, and the narrator's voices felt sort of monotone (even though each voice was distinct), not enough emotional range. I especially disliked the way he portrayed women and children. The setting is fun and the other characters interesting (although I disliked Tom's voice a lot), and the story eventually gets to some nice feels. I'm not sure I'll invest in another story with this narrator though. For taste reference, I usually listen to Michael Dean, Michael Leslie, Teddy Hamilton, Jacob Morgan, and Joe Arden.

... love was something other people felt - Tate

Tate, a divorce attorney from the city, doesn't do relationships - coming to Chester Falls to be the best man for his twin Tristan's wedding, gets him more than he's bargained for. 😊 I enjoyed How to Catch a Bachelor 👍

Would I listen to it again: yes ✔
Did the story keep me engaged: yes ✔
Was I invested in the characters: yes ✔

📖 Chester Falls is a delightful series, its characters are fun and likeable and each book is unique in its own way, while still keeping the overall small town feel. - This is Indy's story (Ben's best friend (from HTC a Bookworm) and owner of the Spilled Beans coffee shop and bakery). It has good pace, a roller-coaster of emotions, some humor, hurt feelings, and comes with a good helping of cinnamon rolls. I enjoy the way characters from past books make an appearance, and Indy's quirky family is a fun addition.

🎧 I enjoyed Nick Hudson's performance and think he's done a great job narrating How to Catch a Bachelor. I had no problem distinguishing characters and the rhythm, inflections and intonations all worked to bring the book to life.

Amazing listen!

I absolutely love Tate and Indy! This is still one of my favorite one of this series. This is such a fun opposites attract and waking up married story. I absolutely just love reading this story. So having Nick Hudson doing this narration is absolutely perfection. He takes an amazing story and brings more life to it. He just made me love is story even more then before. Love it!!

Great Read - Fantastic Audio

So, i was lucky enough to be asked to review an audible ARC of this book. While i have no idea how to review one, I'm going to assume it's on the Voice & how the narrator distinguished the difference in characters. He was on point! I read the book as a book & reading it a second time as a listener was even better. This was a great way to continue the stories of Chester Falls. I love the way Ana Ashley brought the characters together. Supposed hook-up to a beautiful friendship to love. Well written story filled with plenty of emotions.
A beautiful, sweet and light read. Thank you Ana for the ARC & allowing me to leave an honest opinion.

Accidental marriage while planning a wedding.

The MCs in this book were really fun to read from especially with the backdrop of them planning a wedding AND falling for each other along the way. The marriage between the two happened way later in the book then I expected and took me by surprise a bit which I enjoyed. The romance between these two felt very realistic and showed that sometimes people want love but they just don't know if they can get over the obstacles they put in the way. Indy and Tate worked for their relationship and had to go through some self growth, particularly Tate, to get their happy ending which made this story all the more worth it.
I love this narrator and I've listened to every Chester Falls book he has narrated so far. He really brings the characters to life.
Definitely will be picking up whatever books these two creative put out together next!
